This was my first visit and definitely won’t be my last. The hospitality at this Bed & Breakfast was beyond amazing. They treat you like family the minute you walk on the property. The breakfast in the morning is top notch. We met Chip and Michael Lee, the owners and they were so kind and shared so many stories with us. It was such a great girls weekend and can’t wait to go back when it’s a bit warmer to enjoy the beautiful pool. ❤️

This place is absolutely amazing. I’m so upset, I didn’t know about it before. We had such a fun girls weekend. The staff and owners Chip and Michael are the best. They had such great stories! They provide you with an outstanding breakfast and late night sweets. It is very unique in decor and shows the love of this family owned business!

I was hopping I would not have to write this but go response when reached out to the company. First I booked a room at the BNB. Now part of the reason I booked the room was the private deck that was part of the room.Before booking the room I called to ensure that there would be no issue with arriving late that evening. Was assured that would not be a problem and note it on the reservation. So at 5pm on 3/15 I get a call from Shannon from Rose on the lake confirming when we would be arriving. I told her around 9:30 PM because we were driving from St Louis and had a late start. Get there at ~9:30 call Shannon and she tells me a guest is going to show me my room. Ok no problem it was a little clunky to but finally made it in only to be told your in the Yellow Cabin. I looked at the room offering and that was not booked with the bad weather and the my step daughter that travels with me that was not the accommodations I booked. Then Shannon got woken up to help resolve the issue I was told there was a mix up and that I need to stay in a different room. My step daughter has sever anxiety and part of booking trips is showing where we are staying and setting the expectation on what it looks like so she can be comfortable. We stayed had an ok experience and then had breakfast if was amazing. The marketing director came and spoke to most of the guests but guess what my table was all but ignored. It also helps if a person would dust from time to time.

My family spent a weekend in this country oasis and had a great time. Chip and Sharon made us feel like family. My girls LOVED the pool with the slide and being able to jump from 10 feet in the air and breakfast was amazing each morning. The rooms are very comfortable and decorated perfectly. And being able to explore the town by golf cart was icing on the cake. We would VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here if you enjoy country living!! Thanks Sharon for letting my girls ring the breakfast bell!!!

10 Stars! Highly Recommend! Best Bed and Breakfast I’ve ever stayed at and one of the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Chip treated us like family and was very kind. Entire staff was welcoming and provided fantastic customer service. Cabins/rooms were comfortable, clean, AC worked great and just a small walk from pool or hot tub. All the flowers were beautiful. Great for a large family. Great for kids. Provided a golf cart. Great location and very close to the lake. Lastly Pattis Settlement restaurant is a must and only a 2 min cart ride down the hill. We will be back.

A nice experience. Cozy 2 bedroom cottage with front porch right by the pool. Loved all the plants and sitting areas. Breakfast was great and I didn't have to get there at the Crack of dawn to enjoy it. Enjoyed breakfast on the porch.
The owners were super nice & accommodating.
The only thing I would like to suggest to them is to have a place to hang clothes in the room and to have blackout window covering over the large patio window/doors that was in my room.

I discovered this place several years ago when my husband surprised me with an anniversary getaway. Since that time I have returned every year for a girls weekend trip. Chip is so personable and loves interacting with the guest. All the staff were so friendly. The breakfast is to die for and the accommodations were excellent. This is a place I look forward to going every year and can't wait for it. Also it is pet friendly and Shasta Mae enjoys it as much as the rest of us girls!

This is a beautiful property that needs a few more employees to keep it up. Our cabin by the pool was not clean upon arrival and could use major improvements for the price paid. The bathroom and bedrooms have folding plastic doors that could use updates. No locks on any of them. The pool area and breakfast were amazing! I just do not feel like we got what we paid for.
