Husband and I stopped in for lunch. Server sat us right away and got our drinks to us quickly. We both got sandwiches- the February special of hot chicken and waffles for me with a side of onion rings, a Philly cheesesteak sandwich with fries for him. Food was great. The refresh of the restaurant is nice, but leaves you feeling more like your at a cafeteria. Our table had a beautiful view of the rock river and we got to see the two resident bald eagles fly around while we ate.

It was my first time here. Drove here from Sherrard Illinois. Staff was pleasant and welcoming, and food was cooked to expectations. Very clean and great view of the Rock River and the Ken Heidricks Memorial Bridge. Also, it has docking available for boats. Outside seating, fire pit, and a pavilion . Highly recommend.

I come here every few months due to it’s a local joint for me.
Food is always been good. Service is always been good but today……….
Goddamn, had the breaded shrimp which were cooked perfectly with potato pancakes, which were very tasteful and crispy. For dessert I got the apple. Danish with ice cream, which was phenomenal.
I’ve eaten in the past at some awesome places but today the food was spot on.
That apple Dumpling with whipped cream and ice cream was heated warm and great. Unsure of the dumpling was homemade or bought, but either or it was goooooooood
Something has changed here recently with the food. Unsure if they have a new chef or perhaps it is spring turning to summer and that’s what majority of their clientele comes back. But it was great food and great service..
I asked, that apple dumpling is made in house. It’s great it’s phenomenal. It’s awesome.
I’ll be back here in a week or two

I had a wonderful time with my friend at The Rock restaurant! It's a comfortable place to dine out. I like the atmosphere inside and the view of the Rock river outside is beautiful! Of course, the food is delicious and there is a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The Rock is one of my favorite restaurants!

Ordered the sirloin steak burger that they had on special. Cooked Medium rare. Tasted so good. If they cooked this steak that good, then I'm sure the rest of the food is just as good or better.

My husband and I came here for my birthday and the food was so good. I had the beef tips and he had prime rib. The cowboy BBQ soup was delicious as well as the apple dumpling dessert. We got my mom a garlic burger and she loved it too. We will definitely be back.

AMAZING PLACE!!! We are from out of town and found this incredible place. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile. We sat in this cool outside glassed in area overlooking the river. Our server was Mikayla and she was outstanding. Super helpful in telling us about what was good on the menu. The food was great and so was the craft beer. She was one of the best servers we have ever had. Didn’t hover but made sure we were not in need of anything. And don’t even start me on the cheese curds!! OMG were they good. We live 2 hours away and will definitely make the drive back here.

We went on a Tuesday night and it wasn’t too busy. Great food! I got the salmon sandwich with sweet potato fries and my boyfriend got a salmon wrap with fries. Everything came out quick and was delicious! The salmon was juicy and great! Loved the sauce they put on the burger. I liked the atmosphere too. There was outdoor seating and lots of seating indoors. They have live music some nights as well. I recommend checking their website for their live shows calendar. They also have sand volleyball outside. The restaurant is located right on the rock river which provides some great views. The rum punch I highly recommend (pictured below)! It’s sweet and delicious. Perfect and refreshing for a summer evening.
