We just checked in last night, and my first order of business was a 50 minute stress relief massage with Liliana. I normally wouldn’t write a review so quickly but I wanted to share this exceptional experience before forgetting any details.

First, the spa facilities are spectacular. Everything is meticulously kept, and is set in the most peaceful environment. Everything was in proper working order including the steam room, saunas and aromatherapy showers (those were a new one for me despite traveling to many wonderful 5 star hotels around the world).

Next - Liliana asked me for specific areas of focus. I had a sports related injury and she paid very close attention to it and offered me some very much needed pain relief. I have had many massages where the therapist asks about trouble areas and doesn’t really do anything about it. Not Liliana - I haven’t felt this physically good since about 6 months ago when I got the injury. I am so very thankful for her skill and kindness.

I considered other spas in Palm Springs instead of the resort spa for my treatment, and I am so happy I decided to pay the slight premium for this exceptional experience.

The rest of the property is what you would expect - some of the most beautiful views, amazing service, amazing food - all while being at I believe 100% capacity for the holiday.

10/10 recommend. We will definitely be back and may make this new years trip an annual one.

A great place to go relax and unwind. The hotel has always lived up to its reputation. Wonderful location, stunning views of the Cochella Valley, close trail heads and good food. Poolside , cafe and formal dining service is top shelf. Never a disappointment. Staff has always been on point, 5 star. Rooms are of the best quality. Pools are set where you can enjoy the view or just read a book ands sit back. Have been returning here for over 30 years and they have always done an exceptional job when updating to property.

This is a fantastic hotel to stay at in the palm springs area. I usually have qualms going to resort hotels as they are usually spread to thin to execute everything well. In this case I found them to be as close to flawless as possible.

They have a lot of really nice touches to go the extra mile like coffee in the morning, activities for kids, seasonal candy stations, and even sunscreen/lotion available at the pool.

The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to assist or help with anything. We had some confusion with our credit and they resolved it flawlessly.

My only complaint is the bathrooms and parking. For some reason hotels believe that bathrooms should no longer be private. Instead of walls and doors they have shades like you have on a deck. This means that you can hear everything going on in the bathroom and I mean everything.

With this being a spot for work travelers I would not stay at this hotel if I was sharing it with a work colleague or friend. You essentially have no privacy in the bathroom. Parking is also $50 a day with valet being the only option. It was a bit frustrating throwing away $200 when were in the middle of an expansive desert.

If you can get over that everything else at the hotel is fantastic.

My husband and I just spent our babymoon here and the staff was above and beyond attentive - we even got a cute gift from the hotel for the baby! The room was clean, the housekeeping was excellent and the room service staff who brought us breakfast in the morning were so service-oriented and friendly! We had such an amazing time, I definitely was sad to leave. The food at the hotel’s State Fare restaurant was also quite good and our waiter (Christian) was extremely accommodating and he even wrote us some recommendations for places to go in Joshua Tree while we were in the area. All in all, I would definitely come back.

I would like to highlight Joni at the check in reception. Thank you for making our trip one of the most memorable. She set the tone for excellent customer service and went above and beyond to kick off our family vacation. We were celebrating my mom’s birthday and Joni assisted to make it a memorable trip. She has fantastic upbeat energy and keen attention to detail. We hope to visit this fantastic resort again soon and hope we are greeted with Joni!

I’ve been to dozens of resorts in my many years of being an interstate motor coach operator. This by far is one of the nicest if not the best properties I’ve even had the extreme pleasure of being a registered guest of. Being there several times over the last 3 yrs. The employees all recognize me & most call me by name. With them seeing untold amounts of people each week. It’s very nice to know I’ve left an impression on them. Hopefully it has been a positive one. lol.

I'm not sure how to start this review. Our room was upgraded and so we got the fire pit, which was amazing. The concierge and the servers at the restaurant were very nice, housekeeping on the other hand left a lot to be desired. Our toilet had poop stains on the outside of the toilet bowl and there was a clump of hair on the floor next to the sink - I stopped looking too close after that.

I asked for them to be cleaned since I was having a hard time coming to gripes with it, which they apologized and said they'll have housekeeping clean it first thing. We left the rooms all day and when we came, it wasn't cleaned. I messaged again, and they finally came to clean up. Housekeeping left dirty dishes outside our room the entire day, and didn't take away all the dirty glasses. For the price of this hotel, I fail to understand how just making sure it is clean is not a priority. I had high standards for Ritzs, starting to readjust my opinnion.

Typical Ritz service (great)! The location is decent with great views. The rooms are getting a bit tired. Breakfast was good, but not great and a bit over-priced. The steak house had great cuts of beef but again over-priced.
Not great, but a really good hotel!
