We had a great experience at the Respite B&B. The inn is warm and inviting. Room was very comfortable and clean. The home is a recent restoration and was well done. The owner prepared a great breakfast to top off our stay. We ate dinner at the Over/Under Sports Bar, a quick walk from the inn. Food and atmosphere were great. Will definitely return.

My son and I LOVED our stay at The Respite. The house is fairy new but built in an old world fashion. Tons of outlets and space. The hosts are great and answered all questions we had, even offering recommendations.
I came a way loving The Respite and even more, loving Paducah. Thank you for welcoming us inti your home.

We like staying at B&Bs & locally-owned hotels for a unique experience & local flair. The location was great & was easy to find, but we were very disappointed by the very sterile atmosphere. Our room had zero personality, & only 1 straight-back chair. Not cozy at all. Plus, they had the thermostat locked, so we burned up all night. We never saw another person, and parking was on the street. We won't stay again. Will stay at Holiday Inn instead.

Probably the best B&B we’ve stayed at in recent years. Shelley & family were excellent hosts, kept us well fed with breakfast staples, and provided us with plenty of ideas on areas to explore while in Paducah.
The room & bathroom were quite spacious and immaculate. I travel a lot for business (although my stay at Respite was for pleasure) and can say the bed in our room was one of the most comfortable I’ve experienced at any hotel / B&B.
Respite is conveniently located near several points of interest such as the Farmer’s Market & Broadway strip.

Beautiful place to stay in Paducah if want to get away from 'chain' hotels and relax in comfort. Plus, the billiards room is awesome!

Very nice bed and breakfast, but not your typical bed and breakfast.
I cannot say anything negative about this place; super clean; it's so newly renovated that you can smell it- everything is very updated and modern.
The bed, pillows and room itself were all very comfortable. TV is streaming, so may be difficult for those of us who are not familiar. There are several comfortable sitting areas throughout the house.
What makes this not your typical bed and breakfast is we never met the host or hostess. Check in was via a security number/door on front and to our room. The host was very accommodating and kind about our lack of breakfast request and choice. The breakfast was very tasty from a local bakery. Chatting with a couple other guests, we missed having a host/hostess to hear about the property's history, etc.
However, everything was great!

This B&B is beautiful!! Rooms are spacious.. bedding wonderful. The location to historic downtown and river walk was a few blocks. Paducah is a wonderful place for a visit.. Our host was so welcoming and breakfast was a plus..
