Don't get The Quarter Market confused with The Quartet Creole Cuisine's location which is just north on Indian Hill. The Quarter Market is located in the alley right next to I Like Pie and by the Coffee Bean. My husband was craving a catfish po boy and asked me to find a new place since the ones we've tried recently were just ok. I found The Quarter Market here on Yelp and we decided to try them out today (Sunday). I saw on their menu that they only serve the fried catfish and shrimp po boys on Friday-Sunday 11am-2pm. My husband and I both got the catfish po boys and shared their beignets with strawberry sauce. Wow the bread is so good, soft and chewy and the catfish was hot, nice crunchy and well seasoned . The beignets were absolutely heavenly too! I can see ourselves returning for sure. Plus they have a couple tables outside that are dog friendly.

I bought mine to take home to have for breakfast. Warmed it up and added an egg to it. It had time to have the olive salad meld into the bread, and It was delicious! Great single serving size.

We had the veggie and the shrimp po boys. That muffalata was packed with grilled vege. Delicious. Even grabbed some real andouille and boudin from their freezer. Their beignets were great too.

The beignets are SOOO GOOD. Muffaletta (cold sandwich) is also really delicious. I have to get one or the other every time I pass by

Not to stir any controversy, but the beignets here are far better than anything I’ve had in New Orleans, including Cafe du Monde. I’m not exaggerating when I say my friend and I both gasped when we tried them.

1st time there...ordered fish and shrimp poboy 's
Seasoned well however shrimp and fish had been sitting a while so they were dried out and I wasn't expecting the bread to be heated in the MICROWAVE.....overall sandwiches were dry and barely warm ...I'll give it while and maybe try them again
