My partner and I had an amazing stay at this charming bed and breakfast in Chicago! From the warm welcome to the cozy, beautifully decorated room, everything was perfect. The design of the room as well as the common area (LOVED the common area!!) was a blend of vintage charm with modern comforts! The bed was super comfy, making for a great night’s sleep.||Breakfast was definitely a highlight - they had a self service yogurt/granola breakfast bar with muffins, and within a certain time frame during the morning, you could get order an avocado toast and a smoked salmon toast.||The location was very ideal in the West Loop neighborhood, quiet yet close to a lot of shopping and dining within walking distance in Fulton Market as well as easy public transportation. Best of all, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making my stay here truly special.||If you’re looking for a cozy, relaxing place to stay in Chicago, the Publishing House is a must!!

Need to find more clients in Chicago so I can stay here again and again! I absolutely fell in love with Publishing House. I couldn't stop telling people about it and spent far too much of my client meeting talking about all the amazing details - delish breakfast, gorgeous decor, loose leaf teapots, close proximity to everything while still being quiet and out of the hustle and bustle, amazing staff. Comfy well appointed rooms, privacy if you want it yet opportunity for socialising if you want to hang in common areas. Way better than a soul-less hotel chain! When I got to the "add photos to your review" I actually had some on my phone, I wouldn't have if this were just some nice hotel.

I travel a TON for work. This is an amazing change of scenery from the typical hotel experience. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well decorated. There is a great co-working/common space on the third floor that came in super handy. The general vibe is amazing. The hotel owner/manager are beyond accommodating and incredibly friendly. Breakfast was the cherry on top. Definitely going to be a regular choice for me during my trips to Chicago!

Great service, great location, lovely nooks & corners for reading!

The only thing would be to have better pillows. They were very soft and maybe misshapen from not being changed in a while.

Overall, lovely stay with really spacious, clean rooms and spaces.

My husband and I stayed this past weekend and had a delightful experience! The common area, room, and food exceeded our expectations. Everyone was so friendly, including the other guests. The cook to order breakfast was fantastic and the extra touches (high-end shampoo, conditioner, facewash, bed and pillows) made the stay top notch. I can't say enough about our experience and would absolutely recommend!

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful hotel for 7 nights. We loved the room (the Second City), with the quality towels and robes and the luxurious toiletries. The common space is very cozy and decorated in a modern but warm way, and the feeling is very comfortable and homely. The breakfast is very delicious. Kimberly and the staff are charming and the feeling is that the hospitality is done with great love. A place where there is attention to every detail. |Thank you, Kurt & Haya

You’ve never been anywhere like this. This place cares for your heart in such a way that you will leave better than this historic building, its warm whimsy, and loving staff found you. I’ve been blown away at every turn of this experience here. It’s captured a moment in my life that I will fondly remember forever. I saved the details because it’s the kind of allure that should left to surprise. Thank you, Publishing House. I really needed this. The world needs more people and places like you! 100/10 recommend.
