Highly recommend their Sunday brunch! My husband and I went here with a couple of friends over Christmas. We had planned on going to the Christkindle Market, but since it had been so crowded lately, we thought it'd be more enjoyable to go somewhere else. The Sunday hymns on the organ made for such a fun brunch, and the menu was so creative. With missing church that morning, this was the best possible alternative 🙂

Absolutely 5 stars for the cuisine at the Polo Inn in Bridgeport.
The restaurant festures a superb menu with excellent daily specials (I loved the homemade lasagna).
Chef Dave and his staff are very attentive, and they invite you to bring along your favorite alcoholic beverage to enjoy.
We savoured the Polo Inn's hospitality for a week, the food was always fresh and tasty, with their own twist on familiar dishes.
The weekly Sunday brunch was a real treat, featuring a live organist to set the mood.
A must see for anyone visiting Chicago and if you live there, it's time to plan a visit.

Visited for dinner last Friday with a large group. First time. The restaurant space has a warm feel with lots of Chicago ambiance (photos, vintage pieces). The menu is varied and the meals provide good portions and great taste. I had the sea bass special with grilled vegetables and rice with beans, my husband had the fish and chips. Both were tasty and well presented. Service was excellent (friendly and attentive), especially given the size of our group. Parking lot is adjacent. Owner/chef is delightful! Highly recommend.

The Polo Inn is a great local place to relax and have a delicious meal. We always get the salmon dinner because it is so excellent. It is always very moist and delicious! The soups are outstanding, too. And service is always top notch here. Definitely recommend it! The decor and architectural details of this restaurant makes you feel like you have taken a step back in time to old Chicago with the charm of days gone by. Last time we were here on a Friday night we were treated to a violin concert by a fellow diner, and even the owner started singing Christmas carols!

This is a neighborhood gem. Always evolving with the times and has been a cornerstone of South Morgan Street for decades. I used to work here as a teenager and the consistency in the food preparation is just as strong as it ever was. (Rent Hoodlum when you have a chance and look for the scene where the restaurant was reimagined for the film.)

Everything was flavorful and well-portioned. The walls are adorned with photos that brought back so many memories of good times and friends. This will always be a great place to go for any meal. It is bolstered by the adjoining banquet hall and has wonderful rooms for a bed and breakfast style getaway within the city limits.

Be sure to check out the amazing place that Chef/Owner Dave Samber has maintained since 1985. It is and always will be "Something different. Something wonderful."

A nice hidden gem in Bridgeport! The service was great. Staff were genuine and attentive to our needs. The food was satisfying and good quality. Their creme brûlée was to die for! I can see why it’s award winning! Will return! The owner was such a kind soul. He makes the polo inn:)

The family chose this place for the Gospel Brunch on Fathers Day. We loved the owner singing and working the room. Service was great.

My 3 stars goes towards the food. Three of us ordered the Bacon Bun sandwich. It looked as if it sat under the heat lamp for a long time. Another 3 ordered the steak and eggs. All 3 steaks were ordered either med or med rare and came out well done. No one had their eggs cooked correctly. My brother ordered pancakes and they were cold that the butter didn't even melt on them.

Our day wasn't ruined but the food did not meet our expectations.
