We always love visiting here. We actually prefer the off season just for a peaceful weekend getaway. The chalets are well outfitted with all you need to feel at home. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. If you missed any essentials on the way up, the market has most everything you need. We will be back soon! Thank you!

Stayed in the lakefront chalet and it was so cute! Kitchen had nearly everything needed to cook. If I needed something the store was a short walk away. Rooms were clean and stocked with everything needed. View was amazing! The only thing was calling the front desk only to be put on a long hold but not a big deal. The last thing the ice skating rink was not ideal for skating at all. Keep in mind it was $20 for 4 of us to skate for 2 hours but we literally tried for 10 minutes before calling it quits. I’m not sure if it’s the rink itself or the skates weren’t sharp but skating on it was nearly impossible so it was a waste of money.
Other than that the resort was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. If you’re there check out the Angel falls/Willow Creek trail.

Please be advised that it is more secure to book with a credit card rather than a debit card, as it offers better protection. They do NOT clarify the amount of difficulty one may experience after booking online with a debit card.

Unfortunately, our experience was less than satisfactory, and we will not be returning. Issues such as black mold (which I reported), a broken microwave (eventually replaced), payment issues (after showing proof that it was taken out and confirming with my bank) and a stove that I had to fix myself, greatly impacted our stay.

However, I must acknowledge the exceptional maintenance staff who were always understanding and addressed our concerns professionally (They would receive a 5/5 star review if I could rate them individually!).

Despite bringing these issues to management's attention, I have not yet received a response from someone higher than the manager, as stated as such, by the manager herself. If someone has tried contacting (my phone screens every phone call/number that is not saved), I did not receive a voicemail, and would appreciate proof that someone tried contacting me if you try to state as such.

The assistant manager displayed unprofessional behavior and refused to take accountability, further escalating the situation by abruptly leaving during our discussion. Additionally, I have not received a refund, despite verifying with my bank that there were multiple attempts to withdraw money incorrectly (the manager tried to lie about this, and I caught her in the lie, which made her rather upset).

I was quite patient and kind, despite their mistakes and issues with the expensive cabin, until they started to back peddle and take no fault (mainly for the financial portion of the trip). It is so unfortunate, as my kids liked to run around and play outside. It would be nice to see more professionalism, and individuals who are able to take accountability for their mistakes.

We visit the Pines a few times a year and absolutely love our little getaways. We’ve been lucky to travel with family and friends and very much appreciate all the efforts from the staff to accommodate our requests on conjoining and close chalets. Makes it nice to have our family and friends able to spread out, and kiddos not so crammed in 1 chalet. And the loft is a huge added bonus for the kids, almost a tree house space where they can see over and window to see out. My only complaint is the beds are a bit firm, pillows too, so would def suggest if you have a pillow to bring, do it.

We enjoyed another great experience at the Pines Chalets with family and friends. The chalets are clean and comfortable. Heaters work well. The kitchen is stocked with basic pots, earthenware, pans & cutlery.
The hot tub & fire pits were the highlights for us this time: very relaxing and special.
Water in shower drained kinda slow, and internet was slow at times, but all in all we loved our trip.

Absolutely in love! ❤️ We came for one night and were super sad to leave. The nice lady with brown hair and dark glasses was so heartwarming and friendly. We told her that we had just gotten married, and when we came back to check in, she surprised us with a congratulations card and a coupon for the restaurant to have dinner. We never expected something so thoughtful!

The restaurant was amazing, and the dinner tasted so good. Everything was freshly cooked and delicious.

The room/apartment was super original and authentic, which we absolutely loved. We slept fantastically, and the smell of the pines was so relaxing. And the lake? Absolutely beautiful.

Thank you for this amazing experience! 🫶🏽❤️

Let me know if you’d like any further adjustments!

Lovely two-floor cabin. Mine had bedroom and bathroom downstairs, whilst upper level had kitchen and 'living' area. The resort has a number of cabins, so some will no doubt have different layout. All very well-equipped. Nice balcony with view out to the lake. Very helpful reception staff. Next to reception area, there is a very well-stocked 'market store'. I never used this but the store has a 'deli' with a range of prepared food. Word of advice, carefully read the information sheet which you are given at check-in or I defy you to work out how to change the bath's tap from filling the bath to turning on the shower. When I asked reception for advice, I was told this regularly puzzles guests. Very well located for visits to Yosemite National Park. It makes sense to ensure you reach the Park entrance early as, even in late-September, the queues are dreadful by late morning. Bass Lake itself is delightful and great to drive around. Lots of places to pull off the road and use small 'beaches'.

So much fun would have liked an earlier Check-in, but I know that's just sometimes impossible. However, we came up for a wedding. They were very great in explaining how to get to the wedding lawn towards the back, and how to come back To the reception hall, the grounds are beautiful. We probably have not been there in 15 years but now it reminds me of how quaint and cute It is. Its decorated like a Hallmark movie. I want to bring my grandson back soon. We stayed in one of the lakefront suites. Would've loved to stay a couple more days. next time. Our experience in the chalets was great too years and years ago..b4 google reviews;)
