Really quiet and mature place where you can still have fun and good food. Only reason I have a four was the service. She was slow, inattentive, and often we had to hound her for drinks or just to get her attention. She also wasn’t very confident when it came to asking for changes to items. The steak, wickle bites, fried green tomatoes, and quesadillas were great. The drinks were also mostly good (some a bit sweet or lacking enough liquor). There is a lot of seating and no kids around. There is an outside seating area with fire pits and live music. Good parking. It is located by a golf course and hotel.

Had a late lunch and it was a very fulfilling and enjoyable experience. My choice were the fish tacos and they were a winner. The fried green tomatoes were a great opening pleaser to the pallet. Looking forward to trying their breakfast buffet one morning.

Forget ordinary breakfasts – The Oak Tavern in Prattville is a culinary masterpiece with a fantastic view! Nestled within the Marriott Prattville Hotel at Capital Hill, the panoramic vista of the Robert Trent Jones golf course is just the beginning. The real magic lies in the impeccable service and vibrant atmosphere. Ashley and Patricia, your genuine smiles and dedication to guest satisfaction set the gold standard. You went above and beyond, making me feel like a valued guest, not just a customer. The food? Made with love. This isn't just a restaurant; it's a destination. For a breakfast that will leave you energized and smiling, The Oak Tavern is the place to be!

Wonderful outdoor area, with fire places and views! Was a great date night and spot to go out with friends. We got the porterhouse and bourbon pecan pie and were not disappointed!

Well hate to say we wont be going there again. Sad when you call to speak to a manager about your service and the food, and you get hung up on. Really? Something changed in the last 6 months when I met my Mother and Aunts for birthday celebrations back in September! Service =horrible
Food=not good and I had to throw up 2 times on my way back home to huntsville. So sad. I would not recommend this place ever again. Unless they get nicer staff and better food.

Drove from Huntsville, AL and met my Mom and two Aunts ( who drove up from Mobile) for lunch and Mom's birthday! Sept 18 and it was a lovely experience! It was basically half way for all of us and we will be back! Service was wonderful as well! Thank you for the hospitality!

Food was subpar, the only enjoyable part was sitting at the bar with Nikky. She was so funny and made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. Her drinks tasted amazing and her personality is the best! She told us about the local items we could try to give us a “taste of Bama” as she called it. She was busy but kept a smile on her face the whole time, she is the type of bartender that will make sure customers have a great experience.

I have been here many times with good experiences. The food and service have always been good except for this last time. I went here for Valentine’s day with a reservation at 6:00. When I made the reservation they informed me it was a buffet and they informed me of the cost. Let’s just say we did not sit down until 25 minutes after our reservation time. Once we got seated our waitress did not come by for another 20 minutes. Since it was a buffet style I was halfway finished with my meal before I received a beverage. The service was absolutely horrible as it was basically non-existent. The hosts had no idea what was going on and were completely unorganized. The food was sub par. For the price I paid for the Valentines meal I expected much better food and service. Honestly I feel like I got ripped off. Unfortunately, I will probably not be going back.

This was our 2nd visit here. First visit was wonderful. Excellent food and great service. But this time was exact opposite. Food was fair. Crab cakes were different from the first time and not nearly as good. Fried Green Tomatoes were no where Near as good. But the Real problem was the server we had. She was as close to Rude as you can get. We felt rushed to finish. My sister was given lukewarm coffee and when asked to have it warmed up was told they had no way to heat it up. All in all, I would Not recommend eating here. It seems like management hired a new chef and waitstaff, with dire consequences.
