Our room was on the 1st floor. It was an older room that needs some updating (needs paint, new carpet and ceiling tiles). Our bed was comfortable, our pillows were fluffy, the shower was amazing, tv was big and the Keurig coffee pot was great! We had dinner at Jeremiah’s (upstairs of the hotel) which was delicious! The location is perfect for anyone catching the Ferry and the Hotel shuttle will take you to the airport, just a few blocks away. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful and eager to answer any questions.

Staff was responsive, helpful and made sure I was taken care of during my most recent stay. They even remembered me from a previous stay! My room was clean, comfortable and convenient and well-stocked with amenities (shampoo accidentally was omitted--not a disaster, though), makeup remover, coffee, creamer and sugar. I appreciated the refrigerator and microwave to stash and reheat food. The room made it comfortable to sit, relax and watch tv. The bed and pillows were comfortable, too.

Please beware of using this hotel. If I could give negative stars to this hotel I would. I travel often for work, and decided to try a new hotel in Ketchikan. Surprisingly I heard good reviews. Normal check in, there was nothing special about the service. I went up to my room, and it was not very clean. I cleaned up a bit, and got settled. Made the mistake of opening my suitcase on the bed then leaving it next to my bed. I usually bring my own bedding for comfort sake due to long stays. I was not sleeping under their covers, which probably protected me a bit through this time. As the nights went on, I started noticing a couple of itchy spots on my arms and back. One or two, so I thought maybe it could be mosquitos from being outside often. Did not see any other signs of bugs in the room. It wasn't until right before I checked out that I woke up and there was bedbugs surrounding me. I was able to grab two of them and put them in a bag. When I went down to inform the front desk, she ended up calling the manager. Who then talked to me through the phone and insinuated that I was the one who brought them in. I was truly upset due to her lack of care about the situation, and her insinuations. At the time there was also someone who works with me who was staying in a completely different room than me who also had multiple bites on her when I talked to my coworkers the next day about the situation. So that confirms that I was not the one who brought them in, and that they don't have a problem in just one room. The hotel staff was extremely rude otherwise, and far from accomodating with anything. Which is a whole different story. Poor service, and a bedbug infestation. I will not be staying here again, and highly recommend being cautious if you do decide to stay here.

Friendly professional and knowledgable about the area. A bonus walking distance to my dentist and the ferry back home. Wish the bed was not so soft . But a great stay with staff that were always helpful.

I was only staying one night 12/21, showed up & given door keys for room 218 and found someone in the room, changed to room 219, no big deal. Ended up needing to stay 1 more night, after we checked out the next morning the ferry broke down & there were lots of folks standing in line waiting to book a room & your front desk folks were so busy but kept a smile on their face & very friendly! way to stay calm in the crazy!
The staff in the restaurant and Jeremiahs are always very friendly, lots of places to eat in Ketchikan, but this is where I like to go! Keep up the good work!

I love the staff at the Landing Hotel & Restaurant. I came over on Guardian Flight with my husband who was in the hospital for 3 days. I stayed at the Landing because it was close to the hospital. The whole ordeal was very stressful, but the staff was so accommodating and I can't express how wonderful it was to feel taken care of. The room was warm, inviting, and I felt safe. I almost cried when I saw the robe in the closet because I only had what I was wearing. Even the shampoo made me tear up. The hotel/restaurant also gave a $10 voucher for breakfast which was a life saver. Just those little things and the compassion the staff showed made my life easier. The biggest thing I was thankful for was the van rides. It was down pouring the whole time I was there and those van rides to the hospital and back kept my tennis shoes dry and took a load of worry off my 3 day stay. The local discount was the cat's meow too since I'm from POW island. The Landing's loyal commitment to community service is unparalleled! I will always stay there when ever I'm in town. Thank you Landing hotel and Restaurant staff!!! Lorraine

Can't speak to the hotel, but the restaurant downstairs is fantastic. It's right across from the ferry terminal, and it's the closest thing to a Bob Evans, Denny's, Village Inn, IHOP, or any of those. Very clean and friendly.

Never stayed in a room, so this review is oriented specifically for the diner.

This is my go to breakfast spot. The price is affordable so I can go often, the food is good, the staff is great, and the service is generally fast and reliable.
