I stayed here for the convenient access and entry to the Highland Games being held on the park. The staff were very friendly and helpful and this could have been a great overall experience had the room been cleaner. The water from the taps was dingy and the walls and corners of the room did not look like they had been truly cleaned an a long time. Better attention to detail would make this a great affordable option!

Spent a lot of money for two rooms to attend a festival. No breakfast and no microwave to heat up what we had to buy at a local grocery store for breakfast. Apparently updating some of the rooms so we waited over 30 minutes in one line to check in while the front desk lady called maintenance to see if certain rooms were ready. Just too much money for the lack of breakfast and microwave and dated rooms. Stayed there many years ago when it had a restaurant upstairs and the rooms were nice.

After reading the reviews I walked around the room to check out what was being said. Yes the Inn is dated but it is truly old. I did see some peeling wallpaper but again...it's old. The room is huge, everything works, it's clean, quiet and we enjoyed being right there in the park. Well worth it. Very nice women at the front desk. I usually stay in Hiltons so this was a change but a good experience.

There was a water issue in the hotel. Shower/tub water rusty color- did not want my grandchild to take a bath/shower- stained the white towels. The hotel itself is very outdated and needs up dating. Water damage noted in the lobby. Price for 2 nights over 400 dollars but did not support that cost in appearance, services provided etc. Great location but very disappointing with a marriott name to back up.

I desperately want someone to put some love and care into this Inn. What I can only assume was once a charming place to stay and soak in the mountain view, is now in a tragic state of decay and disrepair. My family stayed here for one night and chose to stick it out due to the large room size, number of beds, and proximity to all the fun. It’s sad that a facility with a prime location and spacious enough to host larger families is so shabby. Long story short- location is spectacular, staff was kind, facilities are rough.

This hotel is in deep need of some tlc. In addition, housekeeping needs some training. Our room had peeling wallpaper, filthy floors, hair clumps on the shower walls, and the sheets smelled like they were put on the bed whilst still wet. With that said, on a positive note- the location is extremely convenient to the park.

I gave 5/5 stars just because the staff was SUPER friendly . I had a great night sleep . This Inn is a GREAT concept. I’m just disappointed for $230 a night we figured the pool would be open, our fridge would work and we would have access to ice machines ( didn’t work). We went to the main lobby to get water . They had NOTHING. , she said we’d have to go down to the other resort to get anything. Also it needs to be listed on the website about the park tickets being cheaper if you buy them from the Inn instead of online . Like $10 cheaper a ticket . We definitely wasted some money coming here .This place is run down not historic . The park is BEAUTIFUL and there is plenty to do

This hotel is incredibly run down and would require significant investment to make it come close to what the listing promises. The pool is closed, and the courtyard is overgrown and not maintained, the restaurant is closed, our room had a lot of mold over the shower/tub, closet doors were hanging and did not function ... the only thing I can say positive is that the internet works, the towels were nice, the water pressure is good, and the location is convenient if you're doing stuff in the park. Also, the staff was friendly. Otherwise, it was worse than a roadside motel you could get for $50 a night.
