My coworkers and I have stayed at the Inn at Locke several times while working in the area since 2018 and it has always been a great experience. Connie and Dean are wonderful hosts. It is really nice staying in this beautiful old house that is meticulously maintained and furnished with antique furniture. There is a huge garden with many spots to have drinks/dinner/lounge in the sun. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. I have only stayed there while on work trips, but I'm sure it would be a great place for a wine country getaway. We'll be back!

I have never been to a bed and breakfast before but my husband and I decided to try a bed and breakfast for the first part of our honeymoon. This place absolutely blew our expectations out of the water. The attention to care and detail was amazing. The breakfast every morning was amazing. The building itself is gorgeous, and just spending time in the living room was such a beautiful antique space. Spending time in the yard in the shade was some of the most relaxing time we had in the Lodi area.

It really helps how much wine tasting and great restaurants are nearby. It's a great deal for the level of service and beauty and location. We hope to come back again for our anniversary. We'd recommend it to any of our friends.

We had a wonderful time at Locke House. Connie, Dean, and Waffles (the dog) were incredibly gracious hosts who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The historic inn was beautiful, the accommodations were very comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious. Connie shared the history of the property and the common rooms contained an abundance of historical artifacts belonging to Dr. Locke and his family. We enjoyed wine tasting, picnicking, and local restaurants during our stay and are looking forward to revisiting The Inn at Locke House in the future.

My wife and I stayed three days and two nights at the Inn at Locke House. This B&B is in a home on the Register of Historic Places and a designated California landmark. The home was built by Dr. D.J. Locke between 1862-1865. It has been beautifully restored, carefully maintained, and tastefully updated. It even has decently fast wi-fi throughout the home. ||The room in which we stayed had a mix of original antique furniture and more recent pieces. The bed was very comfortable, firm but not hard. The view of the property from the windows was lush. The public areas of the home (breakfast area/carriageway, dining room, and two parlors) were all very comfortable, furnished in antiques and more modern furniture. ||Connie and Dean, the owners/proprietors, were always helpful, friendly, and solicitous. We were taken care of quite well during our stay. The breakfasts served on our two mornings were both delicious, with variety and large portions. ||Finally, the house dog, Waffles, was a friendly, high energy companion to anyone that would glance at him. He would happily bring his ball to you and wait for you to roll it for him to chase and gather up, returning for another romp. For those not wanting canine company, Waffles is well behaved and will stay in his crate when directed by his owners. ||My wife and I enjoyed our entire stay at the Inn at Locke House. When we return to the Central Valley, I am sure we will stay here, again.

I'm a real history buff so we loved staying in this historic B&B. The original house was started during the Civil War and with the period furniture and old artifacts on display, this was a real treat. Nicely located in Lodi wine country and the gateway to more historic sites in the Sierra foothills. Innkeepers/owners Connie and Dean really went the extra mile to accommodate all our requests as well. The breakfasts and the hospitality were first rate. Loved it!

Connie and Dean are fantastic hosts and inn keepers. Super accommodating to our unique situation and really saved our trip. The inn is beautiful and comfortable and it was great to learn about the history of the Locke family and town. Connie is a great cook and even made us "to-go" bags when we had an early morning. This is now my home base when going anywhere in gold country. The doggie is really adorable too!

My fiance and I were in the area for our wedding in Linden and decided to stay some place away from the family. My fiance found The Inn at Locke House. It's a very cool historic location in a rustic setting. The owners, Connie and Dean are the nicest people you will ever meet; very friendly and helpful. Hopefully, you'll also be greeted by their cute pup, Waffle! They upgraded us to the Water Tower a.k.a. the honeymoon suite. We both loved the room and the soaring spiral staircase that lead to the top of the tower for a bird's eye view of the property. We had a terrific breakfast the next day (our wedding day!); it was wonderful. Connie asked us if we would have breakfast the next day and we told her we had an early start getting a 10:00 brunch ready for family and also a wine tour and that we might not have time for breakfast. Connie made breakfast for us a little earlier to make sure we ate before we were off to make breakfast for family and friends and the start of a long day wine tasting. That was super sweet of her. The next day were leaving very early in the morning, so we told Connie we wouldn't see her for breakfast. She took it upon herself to make my wife(!) and myself a goodie bag so we would have something to eat as we're traveling home. I've been retail for 40 years and I believe in great customer service but nowadays it's hard to find. It's refreshing to find owners that care so much about their customers to go out of the way to make them feel special. We are definitely going back to this wonderful Inn Connie and Dean, you are the best!

Stayed a long weekend at the inn during our tour of Lodi. The inn is a refurbished Victorian home that is on the National Register of Historic Places. We stayed in the water tower suite which featured two levels and a reading nook. It is quiet and private with its own entrance. The other rooms are also spacious and well appointed. The innkeepers are accommodating and the breakfast is home cooked and plentiful. It is East of downtown Lodi but only by about a 10 min drive. Highly recommended
