Stayed here for a night on the way to Yosemite. We were hesitant to stay after some of the reviews but we had a pleasant stay - although we were there only from about 9p to 8a the next day.
The check in was smooth, there was a bar right in the lobby, and some guests appeared to be enjoying the drinks… there was an area outside with a fireplace to hang out but we were too tired so we stayed in the room. The Fitness room was small and two of the three treadmills were out of order. There were other options but we didn’t use it so it wasn’t a part of my experience and review.
The rooms were spacious, beds and bedding adequate, the thermostat worked fine - a little loud, but nothing that kept us from sleeping well. The bathroom was spacious and the toiletries were an upscale brand. What I really loved was the decor! All in all, a good stay. Check out the breakfast place - Bees- if you do stay here!

The hotel is newly remodeled under new Marriott management. Decor is updated and rooms are very modern and nice. Great location a bit off the main road in Oakhurst.

Delia and Amanda at reception were very nice and helped us with everything we needed, including a baby bed and heating up food for the kids in the microwave.

The doors and ceiling walls were a bit thin. We heard kids jumping off the bed upstairs the whole time, and we could hear our own kids while in the hallway. However, the rooms next to each other were pretty soundproof as we stayed in a room next to our sister and brother in law and confirmed that we could not hear each other's kids making a ruckus.

Overall a decent hotel for the price and not a bad option if you're visiting Yosemite. We stayed at another hotel in Oakhurst last time we went to Yosemite and would pick this one over it.

They also offer free coffee at the entrance (probably read the 1 star review of no coffee maker in the room) and Amanda at the reception was nice enough to refill it for me after it ran out.

Can’t say enough about the staff at the Inelle everyone was accommodating and very friendly especially the manager Ramona! Before arriving I called the hotel and spoke with Ramona and asked her for suggestions about visiting Yosemite. When I arrived at check-in, they had a package welcoming us with a suggested itinerary for a three day park visit. Aside from that the rooms were super clean and the location was great!! I will go back soon!!

The general manager wasn't very warm or welcoming when we came to check in, she made us feel like we were interrupting her conversation with her co-workers. 75% of the time we walked into the hotel there was nobody within sight it almost looked like it was abandoned.

The rooms themselves look very cute and are decorated well. They were a nice size but the walls were super thin. Someone checked in on our second to last night and they were moving furniture and running back and forth all night. It was disruptive and annoying. I let the front desk know but saw no difference.

The fire pit and outside area is very cute. The bar is small and only opened 3 hours a day. I saw the bartender using a book to figure out how to make drinks. There is coffee by the front desk but none in your room. Watch out for the small $6 water bottles. I also found that this hotel gave no recognition for Bonvoy status either.

Where this hotel gets bonus points with me is that after checking out, I received a message alerting me that a toy and luggage tag had been left behind and offering to send it back. That was definitely a first and a pleasant surprise.

BRING YOUR OWN COFFEE MAKER- SERIOUSLY!

I've never stayed at a hotel (even a budget hotel) that didn't have a coffee maker in the room. I've never thought to check or ask. Not a great way to start the day! For a hotel that bills itself as a "premium place to stay" this is just one of the shortcomings.

Another is that this hotel is not ADA friendly. It's a 2 story hotel that has no elevator or even a ramp to get to the 2nd floor. I recently had my knee replaced and had to downgrade my room because I was using a walker and had no way to access an upstairs room.

The rooms are newer and spacious, but no coffee maker? How can that be? Don't be tempted to drink the $6 bottle of water in the room. Most "premium" hotels will provide that for free.

Not impresed. Really disappointed

The hotel was nice, but the management is terrible. Was charged $12 for water that never drank, called and still waiting for the call back about how they were “looking into it”. I also applied two upgrade nights, which never cleared and took months to finally get back from Marriott, too late to use. Nice location, but being arbitrarily charged for water seems like they’re just trying to line their pockets to see what sticks.

The Inelle, Oakhurst Yosemite, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is a boutique hotel under Marriott whick has only been open for 3 months. I was lucky to stay for 3 days before Thanksgiving 2024. The experience is as follows:
Hotel location: Located in Oakhurst, the small town at the south gate of Yosemite National Park. It takes about 20 minutes to drive from the hotel to the South Gate ticket gate, and about 55 minutes to drive from Yosemite Valley;
Because it is the first time to stay in a Tribute Portfolio Hotel brand hotel, I feel that it may be one of the best boutique hotels in the area. The lobby has a lot of FEEL. There is an outdoor bonfire area starting in the evening. Imagine that you can watch the bonfire and look up at the stars in the long dry season. It must be very relaxing;
The hotel room is very large, the hardware is in place, there is an indoor gym, the lobby and the restaurant share the same area, it is estimated that there are about 70~80 rooms, and it does not feel very crowded.
Platinum member treatment: Choose one of points and breakfast coupons. The breakfast coupon is $25 per person per room, up to $50/day. It is basically enough for 2 people. The breakfast tastes good. The hotel is very conscientious! I don't know if other hotels of the same level in the United States provide breakfast coupons. They also provide Dinner, but I didn't try it because there are many local restaurants in town.
The hotel staffs are very friendly. I sincerely say that I can stay here again next time I come to Yosemite National Park.
If I must find some shortcomings:
1. The hotel has two floors in total and there is no elevator. If you are carrying a large checked luggage, it is really unfriendly;
2. Platinum members do not provide free bottled water. You can get water from the water dispenser in the Gym. The bottled water in the room is $6 per bottle. I drank a bottle for you gus, LOL.

When my dad and I decided to take a spontaneous trip to Yosemite, I cashed in my Marriott points for a stay at the Inelle Hotel in Oakhurst, CA. And honestly? It was a great choice.

First off, the staff was amazing—like concierge-level hospitality but with small-town warmth. They had top-tier recommendations for restaurants and local spots, and they genuinely seemed happy to help. I can’t say enough good things about them.

The hotel itself is brand new, built in summer 2024, and it shows. Everything is modern, clean, and up-to-date—none of that "this lamp has definitely seen things" vibe you get at older hotels. USB and USB-C outlets by the bed? It's a small touch, but it is much appreciated.

The "Still Figuring Things Out" Phase

Since the hotel is so new, it felt like they were still ironing out a few kinks—nothing major, just little things that reminded me they were still getting into the groove. The bar and restaurant unexpectedly closed on our first night due to a chef/bartender (same guy? Unconfirmed) having a personal emergency. But the staff rolled with it, allowing us to BYOB, and we ended up having a great time chatting with them and a local artist (shoutout to WingDesign.co!).

My only real critique? The artwork. It was the kind of generic hotel decor that felt like it was bulk-ordered from a corporate catalog. Given how artsy and vibrant Oakhurst is, I would have loved to see local artists showcased instead. Seriously, Marriott—missed opportunity there.

Perfect. Restaurants within a mile, Yosemite a straight shot away, and Oakhurst itself? A hidden gem. The locals were friendly, helpful, and really made our experience memorable. It’s one of those places where you instantly feel welcomed.

Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Would I recommend it? Without hesitation. The hotel is new and still finding its rhythm, but none of the minor hiccups affected my stay. If you want a modern, comfortable stay with small-town hospitality, Inelle Hotel in Oakhurst is the way to go. Just bring a little patience and maybe some extra art for the walls.
