A casual art studio with cute protects to choose from. There's a room for private parties.

I think the best projects are the candles and the ceramic. Those are harder to do at home. The ceramic paint station works pretty well. Love the needle applicator for details.

Slime and succulents don't look as exciting, mostly because the materials available are very beginner level. But both of those are a staple at my house, so I have higher expectations.

The lady working there is very nice and patient.

We celebrated my daughter’s 9th birthday at The Hot Spot Studios in Fremont, and it was a blast! She and her 25 friends (ages 3-9) had so much fun with pottery painting, candle making, and treasure chest/picture frame decorating for the younger kids. Sarah, the owner, was fantastic—she prepped all the materials ahead of time and guided us through the activities, which made the event super smooth. The space fit 26 kids and 35+ adults comfortably, though it might feel crowded with walk-ins.

A couple of notes: there’s only one sink inside the bathroom, so expect a line for handwashing, and Sarah manages everything solo, so parents pitched in during the party. Despite this, everyone (kids and adults alike) had a great time and couldn’t wait to come back for more pottery fun. FYI, painted pottery is ready for pickup in about a week, looking all shiny and glazed. We’ve already returned since, and my kids loved it just as much the second time! Highly recommend for a creative and memorable celebration!

Had a very fun and wonderful experience at Hot Spot Studios last week. My friends and I stopped by on a whim, and were very excited to try out the different crafts available. The prices were very reasonable, and the worker was very pleasant and explained everything to us in detail.

The environment was very calming to be in, and we didn't feel rushed at all. We sat and talked for hours while working on our own pieces. It's really nice and convenient to have a local crafting studio or crafting space like this in Fremont that is just down the street. It didn't feel like a place just for children, but also one that crafty teenagers and adults could enjoy.

It was a great way to spend an afternoon and I can't wait to come back here again.
