This place is so wholesome and cute! The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome!

It’s nice that it has food and dessert to go with the teas! The selection is amazing. We tried their hibiscus tea and Hawthorne chai with milk - YUM!

We sat in the window nook and it felt so cozy. They have live plants and adorable tea pots.

We live in Colorado and don’t come to Cheyenne very often but now this is our go-to place when visiting!

Absolutely delightful little tea shop and apothecary. I felt calmer just having walked inside. It has a zen and "friendly witch in the woods" vibe about it.

The place is packed with different tea leaves, herbs, and spices. I had a great time just walking around and taking in the smells and tea leaf names.

Red got the autumn hibiscus and it was tart and refreshing, not altogether my tea style but it packed such a vibrant punch I enjoyed it.

I got the Mind Teaser and enjoyed it there after letting it steep and pressing it myself. I was floored. It was delicious while not being too sweet-- herbacious and floral. It singlehandedly convinced me to start using looseleaf tea at home.

Genuinely thankful for the experience. It was my favorite place in Cheyenne while we were visiting Chadd and I would be there damn-near daily if I lived there.

Wonderful tea shop and apothecary! My husband and I sat to do some work on our computers and enjoyed one of their herbal teas, a Golden Milk, and two scones. All were lovely! The seating is comfortable, the space is beautiful, staff were incredibly friendly, and the guest wifi was fast! They have a wide selection of teas to choose from and recently added coffee to their menu. They also have small bites like quiche, salad, and sandwiches. Perfect place to sit and relax or come get a gift for yourself or a loved one!

I love everything about Hawthorne. It's a highlight of my day whenever I stop in (and it's frequent enough that I'm acknowledged by name). I love stopping in to get my favorite drink, the Hawthorne Fog, and browsing the shop to see what treasures I can find to purchase. I always walk out with a warm drink and a smile on my face.

Very cute tea shop with tons of items we normally can’t find locally and wonderful atmosphere. I used to come here frequently but have experienced unpleasant service/food products for the past couple of months. The last time I ordered a blackberry spritzer (based on what the customer ahead of me ordered-it looked fantastic) I received a tepid cup of blackberry seed mush mixed with completely flat tap water. It didn’t resemble the drink description or what other customers had gotten at all. When I picked it up and realized it’s was…icky, for lack of a better description…I couldn’t get the staff’s attention to ask about it. So I left and had to go purchase a sparkling water somewhere else just to salvage my 10.00 dollar drink. Every time I’ve come in this summer for a drink or snack, I’ve gotten the distinct impression that the staff are really having a bad day and would rather not be dealing with customers. Everyone has a bad day every once in awhile I get it, but when you bring an out of town guest in to drop 10 bucks on a drink and even they have a bad experience it’s just a bummer. There is one standout employee who has been there for years and whose name I can’t remember at the moment, but she is a true gem and always super helpful and thoughtful though. The drinks, when made correctly, are really great and the atmosphere is lovely with lots of plants and charming gifts so I don’t want to be unfair in a review, just candid.

Such a nice spot! A perfect balance of fresh sunlight and cozy teas and herbs, which comes through in the decor and vibes too. I got a lunch with tea and found the lighting perfect for working on my art.
There is even a meditation spot upstairs. I didn't use it, but I took a peek, and it looked nice.

I'm in love with this place! Unfortunately I was just passing through Cheyenne, but I'm so glad I stopped by The Hawthorn Tree. Definitely my kind of multipurpose store/café!

I had the Bancha green tea which was lovely, even after one water refill, and the pesto and chicken sandwich. Except for the fact that it comes in a plastic container even though you eat in (which I understand, I think sandwiches and salads are being made somewhere else?), it was delicious and I enjoyed the clementines and baby carrots.

Other than the sitting area at the front (which is well served with power outlets, even at the seats by the windows), the store and bulk section is amazing. Lots of great spices, herbs and teas. New books to purchase too, ceramics, jewelry, soaps and other hygiene items.

Go there, you won't be disappointed!
