I recently had the privilege of getting married at The Grove Redfield Estate, and I can honestly say it was an experience beyond my wildest dreams. From the moment we arrived, I knew we had chosen the perfect venue. The staff at The Grove is exceptional—professional, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process and on the big day. They made sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment without a worry in the world.

The vendors they work with are top-notch as well. Every recommendation they gave was a perfect fit for our vision, from the caterers to the florists and photographers. It was clear that The Grove has curated a team of professionals who know how to create a flawless event.

And then there's the mansion itself—simply breathtaking. The historic beauty of the estate combined with its natural surroundings created an atmosphere that was both elegant and serene. Every turn we took offered another gorgeous photo opportunity, from the grand staircase to the lush gardens, and even the towering trees that seem to embrace the property. It’s a photographer’s dream, and we were able to capture so many stunning memories in the most picturesque setting.

We recently had our wedding at Grove Redfield Estate, and it was truly the most magical experience we could have hoped for. The venue features stunning, expansive outdoor gardens and a beautifully maintained, classical historic mansion.

From the moment we toured, we were captivated by the landscape which includes a massive main lawn, towering oak tree, secluded gazebo, multiple ponds, and flowering gardens… not to mention the historic mansion which is in pristine condition. It has been preserved and renovated with great care by the Redfield Estate caretakers, including our main point of contact Deborah. Deborah was organized and communicative. Working with her felt like getting a bonus extra wedding planner, because of her strong relationships with our caterer and wine provider. The staff on our wedding day were equally wonderful, giving us a stress-free day.

We held our ceremony under the gazebo, surrounded by greenery and light. The Pavilion and main lawn were perfect for the reception, and our guests were delighted with the natural and garden-like setting. For example, a baby deer crossed the lawn at one point and at night there were more fireflies than I have ever seen in my life. We are beyond grateful to have found such a perfect venue for our wedding. Redfield Estate exceeded all our expectations and created memories that we will cherish forever.

We had a gorgeous September wedding at The Grove Redfield Estate. The staff was incredibly helpful from the beginning of the planning process - responsive, friendly, insightful, and helpful. Our day was simply magical and far surpassed anything we could've hoped for. We got married at the gazebo and had our reception in the pavilion, we had about 110 guests on a Friday night.

The grove offers so many beautiful spots to sneak away for portraits, our guests absolutely loved the caterer and DJ (from the Grove's preferred vendor list - which is a little small, but high quality selections, we found). There are no words to describe how beautiful the evening became once the tree line was lit up by the DJ lights, and the lighting Redfield Estate provides was turned on -- I wish it could've been captured in a photograph.

We had the night of our lives and the wedding of our dreams, and we wouldn't change a thing.

This venue has the perfect balance of indoor and outdoor space for ~100 people or less. We knew what we wanted for our wedding and once we set foot here we knew we had found it! We wanted to be outside but knew that if the weather was bad we had a backup plan. Having private space (and bathrooms) for the bride and groom and wedding party was also excellent. There are a lot of good hotels in the area and it's not far from OHare which was great for our out of town guests.

The team was easy to work with. Their contract lists out their requirements clearly and they provide good lists of what's available to use. We used one of the 6 recommended caterers which basically felt like they were part of the venue because they do so many events there that you don't have to facilitate the conversations between them, which was a huge relief.

Our photographer agreed that basically every spot is a great spot for pictures - the whole place is really photogenic, even in the winter. They also have lots of nice lighting already installed and in the summer the flowers and forested area mean you really don't have to add much in the way of extra decor. The venue really was perfect and we are so happy we found it!

I'm a wedding photographer and it was such an amazing experience to be able to shoot a wedding here. From the bridal suite in the house to the beautiful grounds, you couldn't ask for a more picturesque place to have your wedding.
