Working with Green Event Center was a really great experience. My husband and I had our engagement ceremony here back in March. It was lovely to work with Chef Ann. She was very knowledgeable & enthusiastic about working with us. She found a way to incorporate our tastes and requests & was very receptive to our feedback. Our guests loved the food and many of our friends also asked us about how they could cater the food for their own event. Overall, a great location to hold any formal event/function.

We just had our daughter's wedding reception with about 140 people at The Green Event Center on Feb. 7th, 2015. I couldn't have been more pleased! Chef Ann, Steve, Ashley and Marisa were a pleasure to work with and now that the wedding is over, I will miss them. They were all enthusiastic about our event and helped in every way. The food was fantastic. I've heard from so many of our guests about how great the food was and what a great reception venue Green was. Their package deals are so easy to understand which I found to take so much stress off of the planning. Their cake vendor provided two beautiful and very fresh, flavorful cakes. Their linens vendor matched our colors perfectly and the room was beautiful. Green has a large screen that comes down from the ceiling behind the dance floor....perfect for the slide show that we had running as guests arrived and during dinner. We also took advantage of the Model T to have them transport the bride and groom from the church to the reception. It was beautiful and a real treat for our guests to see. At the end of the night, we had a sparkler send off which Steve handled perfectly. This crew at The Green Even Center are true professionals and because of that we were able to enjoy the day.

We had our Dad's 90th Birthday celebration in December 2014 and it exceeded our expectations. The prices were great and Marisa, Ashley and Chef Ann were an absolute delight. All very professional and responsive during the planning process. Chef Ann worked so hard on our menu to make it perfect. During the event they continued to be attentive to the needs of our guests, watching closely to make sure everything kept on our time schedule and the food/drinks were replenished very quickly. It felt like we were working with an extension of our family to plan and execute this event. Well done Green Event Center!!

We use the Green Event Center 1-3 times a year for various events at my company. They are always so accommodating and their waitstaff are always professional, courteous and helpful. Chef Ann has always come up with great food suggestions and is always willing to work with us to keep us within our budget - plus the food is always spectacular!

Warm welcoming environment, enticing menu options and absolutely delicious food presented beautifully! Marisa was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process, from the early planning stages and through what was nothing short of a spectacular rehearsal dinner. Chef Ann's energy and obvious passion for her work made our menu planning a joyful event in itself and her execution of the meal was exceptional! They took all the stress off of me and I was able to truly relax and enjoy the evening with friends and family.

My daughter's friend had her 16th birthday party here. The place was filled with all ages people, a lot of teens, some younger children who were family or younger siblings of family friends, and adults as well, parents of teen friends, family members and family friends. My teen daughters and I went. There was a very nice buffet style meal. The family of the birthday honoree had prepared a photo presentation of her throughout her life that was shown on a big screen. The tables had beautiful linens on them and color coordinated covered chairs. This place had the food, table linens, and the audio visual equipment provided for what was needed to make this event special. The mom brought in her own table centerpieces and a DJ for the music for the kids to dance to. Everyone had a great time and the event center was beautiful and very clean, with clean restrooms, an impressive entry lobby area, and convenient parking. The people who work there were present throughout the event and there for clean up, seeing everyone out and locking up at the end of the night. The mom seemed very happy with the event center and was complimentary about anything she had to say about her experience with them. I would consider this place if I was looking for a special event venue.

We have had several Wednesday Meals from the Center so of course when a Valentine Dinner was offered, we were happy to buy it! Well, it was fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!! We purchased one for our relatives and they also loved it! It was truly a festive meal. Thanks loads!!! I can't wait for another super treat from Ann!!!

We have hosted our girls basketball banquet here for the past 3 years. I went in this year and spoke with the chef and coordinator and asked how could I make the same banquet a WOW!!! this year. The chef Ann gave me a menu that we had never had ....her food is always delicious and you can tell it is prepared with love. She is a true 5⛤ chef !!!? The coordinator helped guide me to a change the same old room into a Wow room, with simple change of color. I arrived early to check out the room and add my glam to it and her set up crew lead man is always so helpful and they all go out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of. They also have some young staff that are polite and friendly. If you want to know a diamond in the ruff of Friendswood TX /Alvin....here it is.
