We had an outstanding three-night stay at Tod and Shannon's bed and breakfast on the Lake of the Ozarks for a corporate strategy meeting. The lake views were the perfect backdrop for our work, and the hospitality was top-notch. Our rooms were cozy and spotless, and the breakfasts were an outstanding (shared on social) start to each day. Tod and Shannon went above and beyond to make our stay productive and relaxing. Highly recommend for both business and leisure stays!

Staying here is better than any hotel or resort at the lake. The house is beautiful. Besides your room, there is a gorgeously furnished living room to sit in and enjoy the views, and another sitting room downstairs with a pool table. The owners (Todd and Shannon) are so kind and chatty at breakfast, but then you don’t see them the rest of the day. This makes it feel like you aren’t staying in someone’s house, even though you are. Todd gave us a ride in his boat one morning to show us around, and allowed us to use his kayaks, paddle boards, and lily pad. We spent a whole afternoon just swimming off the dock and relaxing. This was probably my favorite part- we had the amenities of the lake but it was private as opposed to staying at a resort that would be flooded with people. |Todd made absolutely delicious and beautiful breakfast platters at whatever time you wanted them each day. Having it on your patio instead of at the table with all the other guests was perfect. |Our room (the rose room) was I believe the most private feeling option since the door was at the end of a hall and the patio was separate from the other room at that floor. The room was beautiful and we loved seeing the water out the sliding glass doors. | I will recommend this place to anyone interested in a trip to the lake, and would definitely stay here again if we ever came back. It is a 10 out of 10 stars!!

Awesome place to call your temporary home! The facility is top notch. Right on the water. Each room has a view of the lake. |Todd and Shannon are great host. From the house amenities to the very tasty breakfast that is “served” to you each morning, while taking in the calmness of Lake of the Ozark!|A simple place to rest on the dock enjoying the lake, and/or a bonus boat ride. Todd as your captain has a great insight of the lake and the surroundings. |A definite bed & pamper (breakfast included) place to stay.

We are so glad we chose The Garden House Bed & Breakfast for our anniversary trip accommodations! The incredible hospitality with attention to detail, the beautiful and comfortable room (we stayed in the Orchid Room), the amazing and delicious breakfast on our patio…it was all perfect. We also enjoyed playing pool in the game room downstairs and some GREAT golf at Osage Beach National Golf Course. Thank you to Todd and Sharron (excellent hosts) for a great get away!

We stayed at The Garden House Bed and Breakfast for our first anniversary, and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a weekend getaway. That breakfast picture was on our room’s balcony and had an exquisite view of the lake. The owners were absolutely fantastic! So personable and helpful. We plan to stay here again!

As always, Todd and Shannon welcomed us with open arms. Our favorite rooms are the Rose Room and Orchid Room. Upon arrival, we had a small box of local fudge and the sweetest birthday card. Breakfast was absolutely amazing as always! The Angry Dragon has opened up and is just a short walk. We had drinks and gourmet hot dogs. Yum! This is truly a hidden gem that my husband found three years ago and we keep going back! Sitting on the dock lakeside is so relaxing.

I chose this bed and breakfast for one of the stops on my wife and I's 10th anniversary based on the high reviews they have. Let me say those are legit and we'll earned! Todd and Shannon were superb hosts. This was everything I imagined and more and we especially enjoyed the breakfast that was brought to our patio in the morning. The room was clean, comfortable, private and decorated expertly. This was a wonderful choice and I can't say enough good about it. There are also a number of great restaurants and bars nearby that are open late. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to be back in the future. Don't hesitate to book a stay here. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very nice, large, comfortable, clean and had a very nice view. We stayed in the Orchid Room. The whole place is beautiful, well maintained, comfy and inviting. Todd & Shannon are awesome hosts. Each morning we were served elegant breakfasts on our private patio. We enjoyed swimming off the dock and a day out kayaking. There isn’t really anything negative that I can say. If you are looking for a really nice place to stay on the Lake of the Ozarks, you found it.
