Property was very well kept. We stayed in the Peyton suite which is located on the second floor. We initially were a little lost since we arrived at night (8PM) and the inn is located at the back of a commercial/professional lot. However, check in instructions were simple and the room was very comfortable/spacious. The bedding was soft and clean. Large TV and plenty of space to store groceries inside the fridge. Perfect spot for resting after a day of hiking in Yosemite. The bathroom is a bit cold in the mornings and night so I would suggest putting in some type of heater to make it more comfortable. However, the main room has a large heater that is more than enough to keep the entire room warm. This location received the girlfriend seal of approval.

AN ABSOLUTE MUST-STAY LOCATION!

I can’t say enough amazing things about The Four Daughters Inn - from the coziest room I’ve ever slept in, to the location & the amenities… truly what a bang for your buck!

If you are visiting Yosemite, make sure you stay here for a couple of nights. I truly can’t get over the massive beds & comfy bedding!!

UPDATE: TO THE OWNER.... Needing to go this far... When you pay $111 for less than a 24 hour stay, I would expect at a minimum and apology at the first sign of an issue. You are attempting to minimize the issues we encountered, which is extremely unprofessional!!!

Reviews were great, but not so accurate! We arrived to a room (Peyton Suite) that was 54 degrees and the heat was not turned on. We contacted the owner after about an hour there, they advised that it would take a couple hours for the room to warm up, the cleaning staff ( the daughter) must have forgotten to turn it on. Regardless, it took over 3+ hours for the room to reach 70 degrees. Then the shower drain backed up, thank goodness they had a plunger, then we also found the bathroom sink was backed up as well. Went to use the Keurig, the descale light was on and it was dirty... In speaking/texting the owner, the never offered an apology for any of the above, stating they had been doing this for 3 years and had rave reviews... No accountability... Sad... Oh, they have strict rules... Quiet beginning at 9pm, which the owner claimed 10pm, but it didn't matter as we had very noisy neighbors, it appears they don't enforce their "rules". Wouldn't ever stay here again!!

Just got back from a stay at The Four Daughters in Yosemite, and it was exactly what I needed. This self-service hotel is a great find if you're looking for a simple, comfy place to crash after a day of exploring the park.

The rooms were clean and had everything I needed. The self-check-in process was super easy, so I could get settled and head out to enjoy Yosemite right away.

What I loved most is how close it is to the park’s main spots. After a long day of hiking, it was great to have a quiet, comfy place to come back to.

We loved Four Daughters—one of a kind, and a must-stay.

It’s rare to find hotel owners that actually care about the space and people that stay at their properties. However, that diamond in the ruff is Four Daughters.

We were headed back from Yosemite when our car broke down. Nothing was open—no repair shops nor car rental companies within 40 miles. We tried to order an Uber with no luck.

The Four Daughters was our saving grace. We also met the owner, who was incredibly kind and hospitable. 10/10. Couldn’t recommend more.

This charming inn was a lifesaver after a car breakdown outside of Yosemite after a camping trip. Matt was amazing and could not be more friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and super comfortable. This family owned spot is such a gem. So welcoming and full of charm. Would definitely stay again!

I wish I could give 10 stars. The photos were great, but I’m always wary of nightly rentals. The Four Daughters, and especially the Peyton Suite (the ultimate suite) was far above any expectation. It’s a single building, perched on the top of a knoll in town, but very private and QUIET. The finishings in the suite are top notch. Modern industrial but very warm. I assumed we were the only guests because it was so quiet, but people had arrived and even through the same entry and no noise. Very clean throughout. Bathroom is separate and fresh and new with classic design. An elevated boho vibe in the suite. Best night of sleep I’ve had traveling, quality linens and furniture. Fully equipped kitchenette. Everything you could possibly need is there. The contact responded immediately and was kind and gracious. Top notch. HUGE parking lot for oversized vehicles & even trailers. 5 minutes from Bass Lake. Believe the photos of this place. It’s amazing. And there’s still more to come it looks like. Every short term rental should take note of this place - it’s just perfect.
