Clean and comfortable room. The bathroom was spotless with plenty of towels. Very quiet and peaceful on my floor. I did not use the amenities since it was a brief business stay. Wonderful bar and breakfast. The prices were reasonable but it was a very classy atmosphere. Only adults were observed.

This Hotel was phenomenal . It gave Hyatt Centric Vibes and I absolutely love Hyatt Centric locations. I would stay at this hotel again on every visit to Chicago . Although it was in the outskirts of Chicago , it was nearby highways which made the commute easier.||Pros:||- Free Parking |-Free Internet |- Restaurant on site with a great menu|- Bar on site |-Mini Market |- Very Nice Gym on site. Gym had fresh fruit and water dispenser inside of gym area . With cold towels available . |- Decent size mini fridge in room that can store restaurant leftovers|- Close by a Costco for membership has prices. |- SAFE location. This was really important to me. |- GREAT location for business meetings . I would highly recommend companies to send Staff members here. | - Clean Rooms including a makeup towel , which was a first . I used the makeup towel to clean my face after using the wipes. Very nice idea. ||Cons: ||- 35-40 minute commute to chicago activities.|- No other Cons . I like a more quiet area. I’d take highway commute over busy traffic any day

They were amazing at helping us after our flight was canceled in the middle of the night. Super accommodating and wonderful service. Highly recommend. The breakfast in the morning was also phenomenal and they even gave us a late checkout because our flight was later in the afternoon.

This hotel is wonderful. Front desk service is outstanding. Nick is very welcoming, sends a welcome email, and always asks if there is anything he can do for us. The lobby, hallways, and rooms are very very clean and smell fresh. Enough towels and amenities in the room. The rooms are large enough and comfortable. House keeping does a really good job. Parking is plentiful. The rooms are quiet. Decor is modern and beautiful. Highly recommend.

Quality hotel. Friendly and responsive staff. Very clean and nicely decorated hotel. Towels were plush and plentiful. Restaurant within the hotel was one of the best hotel restaurants I have ever eaten at. Nice location if you have an appointment at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Lake Forest, IL.

Excellent stay for a business trip. Clean, modern, and pleasant all around. As a woman I will say I wish the bathroom products were not "oak" scented (smelled like male products as opposed to neutral scents). The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful; prompt with room delivery and to fix any problem. The restaurant also was fantastic! We had a few dinner here and every one was surprised with the quality of the meals and the service. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Shout-out to Lucas and Robert for being the best receptionists!!

I decided to spend my cat 1-4 award night here; it started rocky with an interaction with an inexperienced, untrained associate who’s unable to handle loyal members properly and insisted on the extra charge for checking earlier than 3pm and missed all the other things she’s supposed to do. However, the management was receptive to development feedback and responsive to address the issues, so that’s commendable. Warning: While it says that this is a Hyatt Place hotel, it’s totally different, and many World of Hyatt benefits won’t apply here. Unless you’re a Globalist member, breakfast is not complimentary, unlike other Hyatt Places. The most obvious difference is that the lobby and common areas are clean and updated, but you’ll get that usual Hyatt Place feel inside the room. The Oaken restaurant was cozy and modern, with fantastic staff and good food. It's also worth noting that the rates are higher for this property than Hyatt Place/House in the suburbs, and it’s a category 3 and less amenities like no pool but the fitness room is nicer and bigger than other Hyatt Places. You’ll get a boutique feel like Thompson, but the room is a Hyatt Place. I’m a bit confused with the property’s branding actually. However, there are hard-working and highly professional staff members who make the property worth considering.

We were really impressed with this hotel! Spotless and nice features in rooms. The hotel is beautiful! We enjoyed the bar in the evening. The bartender makes a great Old Fashioned and was really nice. We had breakfast. French toast was great!
