The folding chairs set up for the event left little room for anyone to have arms but the sound and lights were good for a ballroom venue.

This event center is the weirdest concert venue I’ve ever experienced.
Went to see Ben Folds, who is an amazing artist. And that being said—one man playing a piano and singing was no match for security talking loudly through a good deal of the show and the bars at the front of the venue loudly cracking through batches of ice. The security seemed to be loudly mocking the opener, which just felt uncalled for. All the extra noises did not feel honoring to the musician, and the vibes were definitely odd.
I was in the front row and could barely see any of the performance because of the angles of the stage and how the piano was set up.
The layout could use some serious work. And staff could use some help to “read the room”—this was not a loud rock and roll show with a huge band where a little conversation may have been hidden. It was very distracting.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. Paid $90 to see a concert - assuming it was a concert hall - it’s a conference room with folding chairs. I was ready for the staff to put out a continental breakfast but unfortunately they did not. I was ready to be conned into buying a timeshare. My depression has gotten twice as bad since attending this “concert venue.” I don’t like this place.

I just hosted a milestone birthday party at the Event Center and everything could not have been more perfect! The staff was very attentive, charming, and helpful. The food was outstanding! We had the Tuscan buffet package and everything was perfectly cooked and presented. And the pastries were decadent and beautiful. My guests had a wonderful time in the casino after dinner. Strong recommend!!

My daughter Jessica and her husband Ryan had their wedding reception in your event room on 8-19-23. Guests complimented me about the venue and the food. The DJ was great EVERYONE had the best time. It is my understanding this was the first wedding reception that you've had there. Thank you. You made the evening perfect.

We recently had our D64 retirement party at The Event Center and it was fantastic. The dinner was delicious and the dessert was amazing. The presentation of the dinner was very impressive. The location was great. The parking was easy and the room was beautiful. After dinner we all enjoyed the casino. I would highly recommend The Event Center for your next party!!!

The good news is that the acoustics are good. Bad news is I’ve had more comfortable seating on Spirit Airlines. It’s hip to hip, shoulder to shoulder and thigh to thigh. Not pleasant and not thanks, won’t return.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This by far is the worst concert venue I've ever been to. It is a banquet hall, that a stage is put up. The sound is absolutely horrible.
Bought front row tickets on left side of stage, what a mistake. First the old man 'security' guard refused to move back, and to block our line of sight of stage. Finally after talking to someone else, he did move back for the first act.
When the main act came on, they let anyone hang in this area and block our view anyway.
There are two bars in front of room, and during the entire time, they're open. Personally thinking disrespectful.
I will NEVER
buy tickets to see any event at Rivers again.
