We found this restaurant by random while exploring the Salmon Walk in Ketchikan, and it couldn’t have been more fitting. After making our way up what felt like a step street, we ended up on this wooden deck, high up in the trees, with a view that made it feel like we were literally in an eagle’s nest looking out over Ketchikan. The name fits perfectly. The crisp, cool air and the open-air vibe just added to the experience.

We shared an oven-baked pizza that was absolutely packed with flavor, and my friend had an old fashioned that was seriously on point—big ice, perfectly crafted. Even though I didn’t have one myself, it was too good not to mention.

This place just hits all the right notes—great food, amazing drinks, and a setting you won’t forget. I’d come back again, no question.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had! Can be tricky to find this place but the atmosphere was awesome and the views were perfect! We were lucky to grab a table outside and soak in the views. Great local brews on tap, the service was excellent, and the pizzas were all phenomenal. My favorite was the “Eagle’s Egg” which was a bbq delight! We’re only in town for a few days but we might try to come back again before we go!

Fantastic pizza with wonderful toppings and combinations. The thin crust is beautifully done and perfectly cooked. They have wonderfully cooked brisket and other variety of meats. I absolutely loved it here.

Incredible views from inside and massive deck. Pizza crust was 10/10 and pasta was great! Modern, clean environment. Comfortable seating even for my little legs. We had great specialty cocktails plus one of the best Long Island ice teas I’ve ever had

Pizza and dessert place. You can get drinks and local sodas. The view is spectacular. We took the stairs up the mountain to get here. We got the 4 cheese pizza, and it was crispy and good.

This was the most spectacular restaurant I have ever visited. The pizza was a 11/10, best pizza that I have ever been graced with the opportunity of touching it to my tongue. If you ever get a chance to visit this sacred temple, do it. Also, the music selection was impeccable. Attached is a photo of the view I was graced with. I would like to thank the creator of this fine establishment, and I would like to tell any visitor of Ketchikan that The Eagle’s Nest is a must- attend.

Really wanted to give five stars to this establishment! But, our service was lacking: the tables on either side of us were treated very differently, and after an hour or so it became obvious. The pizza and beer were worth the hike up the hill though, and the views can't be beat! We visited on a typical rainy day, but the balcony would be fabulous in the sunshine! So, still recommend this stop in Ketchikan.
