I did a girls trip with my nieces. It was a very nice room at a good price for the last minute booking. Location is very nice, walkable to the main street, although we drove b/c it was a bit chillier. We got a room overlooking the park, which is much better than overlooking the parking lot. The front desk people for reservations and check in were very nice & accomodated a few requests I had due to recent injuries. The room had it all: kitchenette, fireplace (which gave off quite a bit of heat), sitting area, and a nice shower. We booked the cheapest studio suite & we ended up with a king bed so nobody had to sleep on the sofa bed, (so can't speak to the comfort of that). The bed was comfortable if you enjoy softer pillows & mattresses. Which I do. I did have issue with kids overrunning the hottub, (which could be a bit more powerful & updated). The pool is pretty spacious. The room itself was clean with cute paper towel bows & klenex ones. My only issue was that the closet doors looked beaten up & detracted from the overall look of the room. I ate at the restaurant a previous time & it was very good food & service. Would recommend.

The room was very clean and spacious. Kitchen was a really good size. Nice fireplace and balcony. Loved the unobstructed view of the creek area.||||Downside were the tvs. They were very small for the size of the room. Both tvs should have been a tad bigger.||||Nice and quite overall.

Front desk staff are children and not at all hospitable. The only staff that was hospitable was a maintenance man who took our luggage cart back with him to the front desk. Older man, very kind and helpful. Sorry I didn't get his name. Went to check out by 11 and was loading our vehicle and couldn't get back into building to finish to be out on time because our key card locked us out at 1102am so had to drive all the way around the building to go to front desk to get the rest of our belongings from our room. Two little girls manning the front desk were not apologetic or sympathetic. As a matter of fact, the one with the blond hair just turned and walked away like I wasn't there seeking help. Had to walk all the way to the furthest corn from the front desk, which is where our room was, which was about a fourth of a mile walk. Then, I went back to the front desk to check out at 11:10 and was told I would receive an email receipt, which I had to email you on. Then, I finally got that. I'm not sure I had the most relaxing stay due to the staff at the front desk. First impressions are lasting ones The Cove.

Great from check in to check out! Staff was friendly and professional. Room was clean and better than pics online, and the pool temperature was great and also very clean. The restaurant connected was amazing great food and great service! My daughter enjoyed her 10th birthday...

The Cove is great, good value for big rooms, very clean. Nice restaurant on site. Parking is easy. Very close to the resort so its easy to get back and forth for events. Very close to the town, easy to walk to restaurants and shopping. Staff is very helpful.

Was great, will definitely be back. Pool area was clean and spacious, the room was beautiful and had a very nice restroom. Hotel staff were all very friendly and informative, and of course a lovely location right off the shore. Plenty of fun to be found around the hotel

Love the Cove and its welcoming, non pretentious vibe. The staff is so friendly and I was able to check in early a plus! The location across from the lake is a 10+. The restaurant has a lake view and the pool is luxuriously large. Highly recommend the value.

This place is old and gross. Some rooms are updated, but not all. Ours wasn’t and had gross green carpet with stains everywhere. The blinds were a million shades of white and yellow, likely from smoke or repair. The hallways smelled horribly of weed and smoke, despite there being “Non-Smoking” signs on every room door. During our stay, the police were called to detain a drunk naked man that was in the pool. The pool was also gross and there is scum along the sides and the hot tub. Half the children working the front lobby were very nice, and the other half weren’t nice or helpful. My family was staying in the large loft rooms on the 4th floor. You can tell some attempt was made to upgrade the space, but it was already poorly taken care of. Things were broken, scuffed and scratched. There were lots of nail holes in the walls and cobwebs all over the ceilings. For the amount these rooms cost, especially during an off season weekend, this was a total disappointment. I let The Cove know on our 2nd day about our experience but nothing was done and no further questions were asked. I’ll definitely be staying elsewhere on my next trip to Lake Geneva.
