It is absolutely my pleasure to write this review for Kath and Wills at Canyon Villas Bed n Breakfast. They hosted us for two nights last weekend and they went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay for us. The property is so nice and so breathtaking so tranquil and was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. However, the many fine touches from both Kath and Wills made us fall in love with the place and made our trip one to always remember. Thank you so much Kath and Wills and please note that nothing went unnoticed by us and we really appreciated everything. We will be back ❤️

chef Will’s is amazing. You don’t want to miss breakfast. Dinners are a must ! He is a very talented chef.Every plate is a piece of art and very delicious. He’s very passionate about his food. Kath is great with service also . She is there for anything you may need . Love them both. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful! We have been many times and will see them again.

Our stay at Canyon Villas Bed and Breakfast in Paso Robles was, without a doubt, one of the most amazing B&B experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. This place is an absolute gem, and we cannot recommend it highly enough!

The property itself is simply breathtaking. It's immaculately clean, exuding an air of luxury while remaining incredibly comfortable and inviting. Honestly, Canyon Villas is a destination in its own right, a beautiful escape that instantly transports you. We stayed in the Sienna villa, and the views from our balcony were just spectacular – the perfect spot to soak in the serene atmosphere (just like the picture we took!).

But as stunning as the villa is, the true stars of Canyon Villas are undoubtedly the owners, Katheran and Chef Wills. From our very first interaction, they were incredibly warm, friendly, and just a genuine pleasure to be around. Their hospitality is second to none, making us feel like cherished guests in their beautiful home.

Chef Wills is a culinary maestro! Each morning, we were treated to an absolutely amazing breakfast that was a perfect start to our day exploring Paso Robles. And the daily wine hour? It was filled with great local wine and even greater stories and engaging conversation – a wonderful way to unwind and connect.

Chef Wills put it perfectly when he said, "It's Tuscany without the TSA." And he's absolutely right! The ambiance, the beauty, the hospitality – it truly felt like an Italian escape, right here in California.

If you're looking for an unforgettable, luxurious, and heartwarming stay in Paso Robles, look no further than Canyon Villas. Five stars all the way – we're already dreaming of our next visit!

On our annual trip, we decided to visit Paso Robles and The Canyon Villa was recommended by friends and it did not disappoint. From the moment we drove up to this beautiful villa nestled in the hills of Paso Robles and surrounded by vineyards and beauty, we had a 5 star experience, Wills and Kath were a delight, the accommodations were comfortable and clean, the food was impeccable and the attention to detail was outstanding. Breakfast, Sunday Supper and our special dinner has spoiled us for future stays. Wine hour every night was an extra perk! It is high on our list for a return visit!

My husband just called Canyon Villa to ask whether this is the best time to visit the place, since it’s been on our wish list for a while. The person who answered the called was incredibly rude and curt, and while he was on call turned to tell someone “he has a seriously thick accent”, instead of trying to help him with his query. What an absolute disappointment!

In response to your reply regarding the accuracy of my review — your defensiveness, and the use of “accents” in quotes are very telling.

As for the cell reception, we didn’t notice any problems, but let’s assume for a moment that it was poor and you couldn’t hear us properly. Even so, are you suggesting that we hallucinated hearing the words, “This guy has a seriously thick accent,” spoken in a complaining tone while we were still on the call? You didn’t say, “I can’t hear him,” or “The call is breaking up,” which would have been reasonable if, as you claim, the reception was indeed poor.

It was incredibly disrespectful and discouraged us from visiting — something we had been looking forward to for a long time. There’s no reason for us to take the time to note this here except to help ensure that our experience is not repeated.

Had your apology come across as sincere, I would have deleted my review. It was a non-apology, and there is still a glaring lack of accountability for what you said, and you have repeatedly failed to address it. Also, looking up people’s workplaces and mentioning them publicly doesn’t come across as kind or hospitable. It comes across as threatening. Please be mindful, thank you.

An experience like no other. |My husband and I definitely enjoyed our stay because we’ve been there twice and are already planning a third visit. The owners of this villa could rest on the beautiful views and comfortable bedding alone to make your stay worth it but they go so much further. Hospitality is clearly in the blood of both of the proprietors, Wills and Kath. They greet you when you first arrive and they sit with you during wine and cheese hour genuinely talking to you. They provide small touches like daily breakfast menus, cloths to dust off shoes (because wine country is very dusty), and expansive selection of tea bags available to you. The breakfasts and cheese boards are carefully curated and delicious. The chef clearly displays his passion for food when he explains it all to you. Definitely agree with other reviewers when they say to opt for a night in with dinner by Chef Wills (we’ve done both our elopement night and a birthday dinner that were spectacular). I especially enjoyed leisurely breakfast on the back patio area just watching all of the birds. If you need a relaxing recharge for couples, this is the place to go.

We have just returned home from our third visit to The Canyon Villa. Each stay has rivaled the one before. The owner/hosts Chef Wills and Kath are gracious and consistently offer their guests luxurious and immaculate accommodations, impeccable service and five-star cuisine.| |Upon arrival you are warmly greeted and escorted to your room by Kath. You immediately feel welcome and ready to enjoy your stay in their beautiful Villa. We highly recommend arriving in time for the daily wine hour (5:30-6:30). Kath serves wine (a red and a white usually curated from one or more of Paso's numerous wineries) and Chef Wills presents his charcuterie board which features many of his own creations (his house made crackers are other worldly) and cheeses and cured meats that are often imported. It is truly a foodies delight in presentation, flavors and creativity. ||Equally wonderful are the breakfasts. Once again Chef Wills offers delectable dishes which often feature local farmer’s market ingredients.||Even though there are many excellent restaurant choices for dinner in Paso we encourage you to stay in one evening and request Chef Wills’ private four course dinner. This was our third time experiencing his culinary magic and it rivaled Michelin Star quality. ||So let your imagination go and The Canyon Villa's architecture, furnishings and landscaping along with its vineyard views and the gracious hospitality of Wills and Kath will transport you to Tuscany in the blink of an eye.
