Randomly ended up here looking for coffee and this was a hidden gem I came across. I liked the setup of this spot a lot as it has a welcoming feel with the decor. I walked in and ordered a regular coffee plus I got a Breakfast Bun. I did wait a little longer than expected for the order but being a new business, I did understand. The Breakfast Bun is decent with my choice of eggs (over medium), and turkey bacon on a brioche bun. 8.5. The sandwich was warm, fluffy, and again decent ngl. I did get to try their Americano coffee too and this was way better than the house drip to me. Overall, this spot has the potential to be a staple out here, so I hope they get an opportunity to provide quality service to the community. 8.8.

I am always on the hunt for a good cafe and was particurlary excited to stumble on this one! It is extremely clean, spacious, and most importantly good.

I’d intended to only do take-out but ultimately ended up staying because of how pleasant the owner was. I ordered a cold brew, an iced mint tea, a breakfast bun, and a breakfast plate. The food was made fresh and the drinks were well made. Our meal and drinks were so good, we decided to get drinks to go! I will be back to try a plain espresso and a latte for the full cafe experience.

Outside of this being a new business (open 6-months now), it is apparent that things are slower for them and while I can understand why, I’m still shocked.

The space is well decorated and offers more than what you might expect the average coffee shop to include. They have books free to read, games for anyone to play, and even host themed nights like line dancing. They have a generous menu filled with items beyond the normal bagel/cookie cafe offering and even have alcoholic beverages as well.

I can honestly say stepping into the space it felt well loved despite being empty at the time of my visit. That said, there are some external factors that might be deterents to others (and I strongly suggest anyone interested looks past them)! In an era of gambling cafes, the business name reads as if it’d be similar to a Dotty’s or Darla’s. It’s not that at all. While they do offer a small corner with scratch off tickets or host nights dedicated, there are no gaming machines. The shopping center the business is located in needs updating. You’ll also pass through double doors to enter the cafe with outdated signs and flyers that make it feel like a less than premium experience. Despite this, once you cross fully enter the cafe it is a world removed. It is a quiet, clean, and inviting space to be in.

Anyone in the mood for coffee, tea, desserts, or even a great sandwich should stop in!

I just discovered this gem looking for a coffee place that wasn't a Starbucks. I am so glad I did. Excellent atmosphere, delicious espresso from their full service espresso bar and I am currently writing this review while smelling the bacon cooking from my freshly prepared blackened chicken wrap 🤤 I don't come through this area often, but definitely will stop by again. Happy almost 1 year anniversary!!

If you’re on the road to or from Chicago, make it a point to stop here! Chris at the front desk is a total gem—warm and welcoming right from the get-go. The coffee is spot-on, and those breakfast buns? Absolutely delicious! We were on our way to Ohio and couldn’t be happier we decided to pull in here. Highly recommend this place for a quick, satisfying stop!

Honestly stopped by randomly for a quick coffee since I was tired of the fast food options, and this place knocked it out of the park. The owners are great, the staff is great, I chatted with the owners son and he made me an amazing drink, very nice man I think named Cornelius. If you are near here, this spot is a must stop by place. The food was also amazing. Loved supporting this locally owned spot and will be coming back for sure! Great vibes!
