We booked this venue sometime last year before it was sold to new ownership. It was a wonderful experience prior, but an even better experience after the new owners introduced themselves. The venue itself is so magical and beautifully kept. The owners were very quick to respond and assist. Upon our arrival, everything was very clean and organized. They even came down to check on us while we were cleaning up the evening afterward.

My husband and I can't thank them enough for such a wonderful experience. With everything going on, it was amazing to not have a single worry about the venue or contract. All of our guests just adored the space and kept asking how we discovered it.

From the moment I called to set up a visit to view the venue from the mornings after our wedding Debbie and Johnathan were there! Any questions I had got answered super quick, I never felt rushed or like a bother the entire time! The venue it’s self is absolutely beautiful! It’s everything you’ll need for your event! 10/10, 5 stars!

My wife and I got married here back in October of 2018 and I must say that our experience was beyond our expectations. Like some other reviews I've just skimmed through, we found out they were under new ownership just before the wedding. We booked here before really doing the research a year prior to the wedding and after paying the nonrefundable deposit I was worried based off the reviews in was reading. After meeting with the new owners all my worries were gone! The staff here was nothing but accommodating to any needs we had, they didn't "linger" (as reviews of previous owners read) and they certainly didn't go around counting heads. Honestly, they left our entire event to itself, gave us their numbers and told us they're just one call away. One or two minor things came up, we called, and they were out by our sides within minutes. It was great! The grounds were kept up very well and everything was clean upon our arrival. You can certainly tell they care about the venue and it shows. They told me that as far as the contracts from the previous owners go, they are doing everything they can to honor those contracts. They didn't waiver from ours in the very least, even went above and beyond. All in all, we are very satisfied with our choice in venue and I reccomend The Cabin at the Lodge, it's a beautiful venue for any outdoor wedding.

I should have made this review sooner, better late than never. *This review is for a June 2022 wedding.*
I attended a wedding back in 2016 at this location and so I knew when the time came this was definitely a place I wanted to look into. I do believe the current owners are different from those who owned it back in 2016.
The venue itself is so beautiful and well kept. There are two options for the ceremony; we went with the gazebo. Open reception area, with fans (if you do plan an Alabama summer wedding). The Bride’s room was a bit small, but we made it work, just something to consider if you have 6+ bridesmaids. The owners were very quick to respond and assist with my questions and concerns. The contract did appear to be strict for the guest list, but let’s remember there is a reason for everything. To my knowledge (as the bride) they did not linger around or count heads. They left us to ourselves for the day, but of course if we needed anything I have no doubt that they would have been ready to come down and assist. They did come down to check on us while we were cleaning up to make sure everything ran smooth. 10/10 recommend to anyone who is looking to have an outdoor wedding.

We had our wedding there this weekend and I couldn't have been more thrilled! These people were such a blessing in disguise... Our venue closed its doors almost a month before our wedding and luckily they had an opening! They were so sweet and understanding about everything. They honestly made me feel like family! On top of all that the entire place is just gorgeous! 10/10 recommend!
