Great Property! Right in the middle of many of the historic sites you want to visit when you go to Springfield. We stayed on the second floor with another couple and had a wonderful time. It was clean and comfortable with TONS of space. Far more fun than staying in a traditional cookie-cutter hotel/motel.

Wonderful, wonderful place to stay! Loved it so very much! Came to Springfield for my bucket list and birthday, the Bressmer was so great. I love history and this house fit the bill, it was beautiful and so close to everything. So glad that I found this beautiful place. Thank you so very much 🙂

We loved our time in Springfield in large part because of this house! The decor was wonderful and the house well maintained and clean, but still with an old charm. The location was great too. We did not use the kitchen but it seemed well stocked! Only regret is we had stayed with friends so we could hang out in the place a bit more!

Beautiful old mansion with 3 bedroom rentals on the 1st and 2nd floor. Great history and lots of woodwork. Close to the Capitol and downtown.

Third story Bressmer apartment was tastefully decorated and close to the Lincoln Presidential Museum. Owner was very pleasant and easy to work with detailed check in directions. We would highly recommend this property for folks able to navigate three stories of stairs.

The only thing was the upstairs bedrooms were too hot with the temperature downstairs set to 65. They did have one fan but my niece didn’t have a fan. She didn’t sleep well. Other than that it was pretty much as expected. Of course it’s an antique building and furniture so smelled alittle musty. The beds were very comfortable
