Willie, the bartender, was awesome!!! He made sure you were happy with your drinks. The food was okay, i ordered the flatbread, and it was very dry. The flatbread lacked marinara and cheese, the two most important. The menu is limited on Saturdays as well . I had a great experience other than the food! Please give them a try!@

My mother and I had a wonderful experience dining here. I had the lobster ravioli and my mom had chicken flat bread pizza. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Good food, wine and great customer service will definitely be back!!!

I came here because I found out it was under new ownership and is now black own. I'm a little tired of the Foodies recommending these businesses and the food looks great, then you go there and it's a whole different experience. This is my second time going through this. We came here around 1:30. I wish I had taken a pic of the shrimp and grits to compare it to the pic on there website, It was totally different. The shrimp and grits I was served look like a bowl of soup. Tiny cooked shrimp, hardly any spinach hardly any tomatoes and the Cajun cream sauce was not good at all, and that grits cake didn't pull the dish together at all. I make shrimp and grits at home, and mine was much better and I'm just a home cook. My friend had the grill chicken sandwich and the bread was burnt. I wanted to try something different, and that's exactly what I got. $18 for a bowl of soup. Really. The sever brought out bread and butter, but didn't notice that we had no plates to use to eat with. I will say that the drinks were good. I Don't know if I would go back and I live in the area.

I am dreaming about the Chicken Marie I had here! I very seldom repeat going back to a restaurant, only because we live in area where there are so many to try. Yeah, not this one. I have already made plans to take more friends here. Everything was that good! Right down to their homemade salad dressings. Bravo!

Christina was our server and she was very nice and attentive from the beginning. I ordered steak and eggs, salmon and grits and a side of pancakes for my son. I don’t leave reviews often but I had to this time. I didn’t like one small thing about my food and Chef Yvette replaced the whole meal in a very timely matter no questions asked (she was also very nice & professional about it.) I give the experience a 10/10 and the vibe was on point. Definitely give this place a try!

I have never been to a restaurant and had so many issues. It was my sister’s birthday so my mom planned in advance. All though she communicated with Yvette several times so that they would be prepared, they still did not fulfill our simple request. The food was horrible and I am not exaggerating. We ordered honey salmon, catfish and grits, Nola pasta, chicken and waffles and burgers. The service was incredibly slow and not one table had a complete meal at the same time. My husband got catfish it took another five minutes before my brother received his salmon and almost 10 minutes before my chicken and waffles arrived. Save your money and time.

Never listening to The Black Foodies again! One guy was the waiter and the bartender for everyone. He was not a bartender, he had to read the drink menu in Order the make the drink. The black bean and carrot tacos were gross. A burnt carrot on top on black beans on a taco shell. You get 2 for $14 dollars. It was jazz night and even with a very limited menu they couldn't keep up. They'll never see me again!! We came across the street to Flossmoor Station after we left and we weren't the only ones!!!!!
