Had our wedding there last month. I’m a prof event planner by trade as well so I can def lay the scoop here. If you’re choosing a hot month, AIR CONDITIONING is a must. I hired Sunbelt out of Rocklin and it was expensive but worth it for our summer wedding. The bathrooms, however, were literally saunas so put a few camping fans in there. The ceremony area - time the shade off the oak tree!! In July our ceremony started at 6pm so the guests were all sitting in the nice shade. Worked perfect. They don’t water the “grass” so expect lots of brown and there was also some star thistle preventing me from doing a barefoot ceremony. Oh well.
Inside - we parked the DJ on the ceremony end and had the dance floor there then the tables and bar opposite end. The roll door was opened after it cooled, this extending the dance floor space. Worked great for 100 guests with plenty of room and it didn’t feel cramped. For decorating- you need a BIG ladder if you intend to hang lights inside or other deco.
You have to mop the whole place so plan on a solid 4 hours of clean up with friends.
Also - there’s no ability for the bride to go to the bathroom since they are not even close to the bride changing room so plan accordingly or get creative. Jayne, the Gtown coordinator of the venue is nice to work with. Be mindful that some vendors won’t pickup on the weekend and it will force you to rent the barn more days to make pickup work.

I've been to many events at the Bayley House over the past 20 years. Always have a great time. Great venue for parties, weddings etc. Beautiful background.

This is a great old barn. It's like a blank canvas that can be decorated.
There is a children's playground as well as an open lawn area for weddings and garden parties.
I love dancing there!

My sister and brother in law just had their wedding here and it was incredible. The barn is a perfect blank slate to make your own and the little room for the bride to get ready in is cute. It's pretty rustic, but you can definitely make it special.

Attended a wedding at this beautiful venue. Staff was friendly, atmosphere was amazing and I'm pretty sure the bride and groom were thoroughly satisfied. Would definitely recommend for country wedding enthusiasts!!!

Beautiful simple venue. Ground outside are well kept. There is even a playground and flower garden. Inside looks simple to decorate. Attended a dinner here
