The bed and the room were both extremely comfortable and clean. I loved the large tiled bathroom with plenty of room to put my toiletries on the cabinet, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The homemade scones and muffins (you heat them up yourself at your leisure) and the fully equipped kitchen were really wonderful. ||||My only complaints were that the ceiling fan in the room was squeaky and the sound drove me crazy most of the night. Secondly, the street light outside made the room too light and the (really pretty) curtains did not keep the room dark enough, so I kept waking up thinking it was morning.||||I let the owners know of my complaints and perhaps those issues will be resolved by my next stay, which I hope will be soon.

The Bartlett is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in Walnut Grove, California on the Delta run by Rebecca. It is perfectly decorated, super comfortable, has convenient keyless access, and is close to a ton of things to do and places to eat nearby. I highly recommend staying at The Bartlett if you are looking to vacation on the river, but aren't interested in camping.
