I recently got married here in August and everything was PERFECT. We rented the glass house for rehearsal and the Nova house for the groomsmen. All were amazing. From the start of the wedding process, working with everyone here was smooth sailing and made my wedding day everything I could dream of. I also highly recommend booking Shelly Gary (property manager) to help plan your day. She coordinated everything from the layout and timeline for us. She did a phenomenal job. I wish I could go back and relive it over and over!

The entire property is absolutely amazing! We got married here and everything was perfect! We utilized all of the cottages and every one one of them are updated and modern. The views are stunning! The Barn made for an excellent venue for both outdoor and indoor spaces. Shelly made our wedding planning so easy for us. She was a lifesaver. She always went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! I don't think anyone could have done a better job. We fell in love with the property as soon as we pulled up and were extremely happy we chose The Barn for our wedding!

Our daughter and son-in-law were married at this gorgeous venue and it was a wonderful day! The site is beautiful, peaceful and feels like a world away (although only an hour from the city). The accommodations are luxurious and give the wedding party treasured space and time together. Can’t say enough about Shelly Gary and Brittany Walser. They are efficient, informative and reliable but most importantly incredibly caring. They prayerfully supported our daughter and son-in-law from day one and cheered them on through the entire planning season and wedding day. They patiently and graciously answered this out-of-state mama’s questions, bringing peace and confidence. So grateful for them and the Barn at Smith Lake. Thank you for the most memorable, seamless, stress-free, PERFECT new years wedding experience! I kept waiting for something to go wrong, doesn’t something always go wrong with events this big and important? Nope. Everything down to the last detail was covered and I was able to just enjoy the day with my daughter, family and friends. I could not have asked for more. Shelly and her crew took such good care of us. They are well organized and SO friendly and helpful. I am forever grateful. The Barn was the perfect event space. The Glass house and cottages were beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything we needed. When I say perfect, I mean it. I wouldn’t change a thing. 10 stars here if I could. "We had the most magical New Year's Eve wedding at The Barn at Smith Lake, and we owe it all to Shelly and Diana, our incredible wedding planners as well as Peter, the owner. From the moment we met them, they took our vision and turned it into a reality beyond our wildest dreams. Their expertise and attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our special day was flawless. From coordinating vendors to orchestrating the timeline, they handled everything with professionalism and grace. Shelly and Diana went above and beyond to make sure our night was nothing short of phenomenal. The venue itself was stunning, with its rustic charm and picturesque lakeside views creating the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The catering was superb, and the staff provided top-notch service throughout the evening. Our guests are still talking about how it was the best New Year's Eve party they've ever attended! This venue is absolutely amazing and was the best experience ever! The location and view of the lake is absolutely beautiful. The Glass House is absolutely breath taking and was the perfect accommodations for the rehearsal dinner and for the wedding party to spend the night in. The barn was absolutely perfect for the reception with the view of the lake out of the back of the barn. Shelly was our coordinator and was absolutely wonderful and did everything in her power to make this day as perfect as it could be. This day will be a cherished memory that we will hold in our hearts forever!

Our daughter had the most beautiful wedding last week! The staff was great from the booking to the wedding clean up. We got the whole package - rented all the cabins and had the rehearsal at the Glass House. It was so wonderful being able to stay in one place for the whole wedding weekend. Weather was perfect, and the views from every house was amazing. Some venues say they have a day-of coordinator, but they do very little. Shelly was the real deal - she was on top of things the whole weekend, often handling things before I even asked about them. I gave her our schedule, the vendor list, and lots of labeled boxes, and she was on it! It's obvious that she loves her job, as she made us feel like this was the most important wedding for her too. The wedding day went like clockwork, and the actual wedding and reception were flawless. It was the wedding of our daughter's dreams, and we thank the entire staff for making that happen.
