Our family and I tried the barn door once when it was out at Knudson Cove last year and we remembered really liking it, so we were excited when they moved closer to town. Today, my brother and I treated ourselves to dinner. We both got Italian sodas, which came with a cute gummy bear in the whipped cream.

I got halibut and fries. They were cooked perfect and the fries were delicious. Probably the best halibut in town honestly. Not super greasy and definitely not frozen like some restaurants in town.

My brother got chicken strips and he really loved those. Great seasoning and yummy. The portions were larger than expected and we were very happy.

Truly a great experience 🙂 Staff was friendly and attentive. There was only one other party waiting (and no cruise ships in) when we went so we got our food very quickly.

Hoping they do well in their new location and will be keeping an eye out for return of burgers to their permanent menu!

We were having drinks at the 49’er and they suggested The Barn Door next to them for food since they don’t serve it. We walked 10’ and ordered and they even brought it over to us. The food was amazing and great portion sizes. Now this isn’t a knock on them because it’s the same everywhere but the prices are a little steep. We loved the food and the service. It gets busy when there are ships in port as it’s right across from where they dock and buses drop off from delivering from the other port.

Burgers by the water. Good food. The cheese curds are absolutely worth getting. The tarter sauce that comes with the halibut is on point. Tasty fish and chips. The burgers are delicious. Swiss burger and the captain burger. I hear the shakes are bomb. We will be back.

Took a chance while on our cruise to rent a car and drive out to the Knudson Marina for some less crowded fishing. The views were amazing, we caught a few flounder, and assumed we’d have to drive back into town for lunch.

Then we found the Barn Door Eatery.

The Halibut fish and chips was perfectly fried and lightly crispy. The calamari had an amazing spiciness.

The chicken burger? Fantastic.
Sliders & burgers? Outstanding.

Our group ordered half the menu and everyone left fat and happy— even those with dietary restrictions loved what they had!

Absolutely worth the drive if you are looking for a great meal at a wonderful little place full of Americana charm.

Legitimately the best fried fish I have ever had. Whatever they are doing instead of more traditional batters is truly magic. Crispy, light, well seasoned, lets the halibut shine.

Been wanting to try this place for months having heard nothing but great things. I was Not disappointed.
The service was patient, kind and helpful. The Atmosphere was exactly what you expect and the Food was exactly what I wanted and it was delicious.

Best fish and tots I’ve ever had. So good and a big portion of both. These cheese curds were great too. Not super fast if you are in a big hurry but worth the wait.

Got the chicken burger, it’s so juicy yet so crunchy. They even give you a wet wipe for your hands, love this place.
