Found this great little place just behind Dwight Bar off frontage road. People were nice and food was amazing. We had the brisket tacos. Absolutely 100% a must! They do take credit card. Looks like they are building a stage for bands, they have a nice fire pit with chairs and several picnic benches to sit around

The food was very good and we enjoyed sitting at the picnic tables. We had gone to try the pulled pork and they were out, but the brisket was nice. I enjoyed the chicken tacos and I added on the pickled red onions. We will have to go again to try the pulled pork.

First time trying the place and we tried the smash cheeseburgers and they were amazing! I highly recommend them along with their fresh cut fries! This place is a hidden gem if you’re looking for good smash burgers in Fox Lake this place is definitely the goto. I’ve had burgers from almost every place that serves them in and near Fox lake and these guys definitely take the win!

Stopped today for lunch for the first time. Had pulled pork sandwiches and french fries (seriously break your diet for these!). It's winter so we took our food with us, rather than the optional go over to the bar to eat. Ate all the French fries on the way home! Sandwiches come with a toasted bun separate from the well-wrapped meat to keep it from soaking thru. Well done guys! We opted for the pickled onions.
( Another yum). Their regular BBQ sauce is a shade spicy in a great way, and appreciated their mustard BBQ sauce!! And the pork did NOT disappoint. We will be back. Great side quest after a Menard's run. We will be back to try everything. And get the big fries!

Best brisket tacos I have ever had the green sauce is mild and the red sauce was just a little hotter, I would also call mild.

Also the smash burgers are fresh and outsanding I come at least once sometimes more a week.

The fries and fresh cut double fried, so good.!!!

This is such a hidden Gem of fox lake.

This is a hidden gem. It’s behind Dwight’s. We were at Dwight’s to play some Golden Tee and were wanting a snack, so we asked for a menu for Bandits’. We decided to try the Italian beef roll. Holy cow. This was so good! We also had some fries, which were very good too. I almost wished we were hungrier so we could have tried more. Definitely order from here if you are in the area (or at Dwight’s). They take credit cards at Bandits, but not at Dwight’s. They will also deliver your food to you at the bar.

The food here is incredible. As a native Chicagolander: I've had a lot of burgers, fries, and Italian Beef sandwiches. The meal we enjoyed at Bandits was definitely one of the best in the category that I've ever eaten.

Our entire group was happy with our meals. Their burgers and brisket tacos are excellent but I think the real standout was the Italian Beef which was enveloped in a pizza crust with mozzarella. The crust was so perfectly done that it rendered us all speechless. The fries were also fabulous and if you can spring for the loaded ones, you should. The cheese and bacon elevates those potatoes to a new level of amazing.

I'm daydreaming as I type about the food. We're definitely going back.
