I wanted to do the Verde Canyon train so I picked the Arizona Light House to stay at. Nice and close in Clarkdale. The views are wonderful. You get a nice breeze on top of the hill. I had a perfect studio , it had everything a person could need. Comfortable bed, mini kitchenette to prepare whatever I wanted along with a nice barbecue outside.. The refrigerator was loaded with all kinds of things to eat. If you want to get away to this part of Arizona I highly recommend the Lighthouse.

Excellent place to stay! We stayed in the studio, which was perfect for the two of us. The place was clean, and had a fantastic view of the valley. The hosts were very hospitable and gave us lots of information about the area.

It was a very comfortable and clean suite with wonderful views. It was wonderful to sit on the balcony in the mornings with a cup of coffee and enjoy the hummingbirds and the view. We found it to be very peaceful and we would definitely return here again.

Great accommodations. Excellent communications with host. Wish we would have had more time to relax and enjoy the views. A well stocked fridge and cooking supplies was perfect to start the day and finish the day with a great variety of snacks. Would highly recommend and the DVD about Jerome was worth the watch.

It's a steep climb up, but so worth it. The views are amazing, the room itself was 3 rooms, 2 bedrooms (one is the entry, which is a little odd but not a big deal) and the great room. Kitchen has everything we needed and big cozy places to sit and hang out in the living room. Really nice people! We were close to Jerome, Cottonwood, hiking, Jeep trails, wineries, and we did it all. It was the best "base camp" you can imagine.

Absolutely beautiful! Not only was the room bigger than expected but super clean and well furnished. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations for around town. Offered stocked fridge along with utensils and had multiple grills posted for customers to use at will. Greatly recommended! Will definitely stay there again if we are back in town.

Jerry and Nancy are wonderful hosts! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The suites are well stocked with food and amenities, and they are always happy to get you more of something if you need. We've stayed several times in several different rooms, and the experience is always excellent. I especially love waking up to the gorgeous view and having coffee with the hummingbirds! We will certainly stay again! Note: low clearance vehicles may have difficulty getting up the steep drive. My Toyota Corolla had no problem but lower clearance vehicles might struggle.

A great place to stay. Excellent, friendly host. The room was exceptionally clean and had everything we could possible need. The kitchen was perfect with snacks, cooking utensils, etc. Amazing, breathtaking view! We highly recommend staying here. We look forward to staying here again!
