Here in 2013, but this year in mid September, on a still and very quiet night, we listened to a whale's exhaling as she swam up and down Resurrection Bay. Sat on the small bank overlooking the bay. Super cool, will always remember that and our Low Tide Room. Even while the owners were away they made sure we were find by keeping in contact with us. . Love the gas flame heater. Maybe a toaster oven? The propane grill worked nicely. Thanks for another great stay. Next time, High Tide. We wish them all the luck and happiness. All the best.

The Paddle Inn was an oasis of comfort in the rugged Alaska. So much better than a hotel!! Alison was wonderfully helpful in offering guidance on hiking options/timing of hikes. The high tide cottage was beautifully appointed. Gorgeous setting overlooking the Resurrection Bay. We watched Bald eagles each morning and evening. The cottage is beautiful and cozy with a gas fireplace, comfy bed. When we arrived, there was fresh milk, butter and 1/2&1/2, Tillamook yogurt in the fridge. Alison had coffee and tea selections as well as oatmeal ready for our first morning on the trails. Highly recommend the Paddle inn. Hope I get lucky enough to return!!

Choose your type of accommodation, a room, the Main House, The Spruce House. All are beautiful, comfy, and have everything you need but food. The view is fantastic! Not far from the middle of town but close enough to see everything. They don't have TV's to distract you but the WiFi is great!

Warm, cozy house. The owners are great and will help you out any way possible. I must say, the beds are one of the best I've slept on in a long time while traveling. When your husband comments on the sheets in the morning, you know you're in the right spot
