Our stay at The Alaska Lodge was incredible! My wife and I decided to elope on a nearby glacier, and we spent our honeymoon / time in Alaska here. We were thrilled to stay at such a cozy place, with an amazing view that pictures just can’t do justice. We were close enough to stores and bars, but far enough to really experience the Alaskan outdoors and all the peace and quiet you can imagine. Jonathan and Alicia were fantastic hosts, and very accommodating to us! Our only regret was not spending more time here, but we will definitely be back!!

Our family of 7 absolutely loved our stay at The Alaska Lodge! Besides the beautiful property and breathtaking views, our host Johnathan went above and beyond. We’ve stayed at quite a few places now and he was the best host we’ve ever had.

We really wanted to fish around the property, but unfortunately weren’t able to due to government restrictions so Johnathan and his wife personally took us to one of the best spots locally to fish! AND he took beautiful photos of us while out on the lake!

One morning we noticed we had a flat tire and Johnathan pumped our flat up for us so that we could drive to get it repaired.

His lodge was so peaceful and relaxing.

Imagine a steaming cup of coffee on a quaint cabin deck overlooking a stunning still as glass lake surrounded by beautiful mountains. If you are in search of a wonderful, comfortable and easily accessible Alaskan cabin experience then you’ve found it. Jonathan’s place was very well stocked, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. There is a separate game room for the kids (big and small), a lake with furnished boats, kayak and fishing gear just steps away. Communication was excellent from the pre-booking process to post checkout. We absolutely enjoyed our time at this hidden gem and would without a doubt book again. Thanks so much for the wonderful hospitality.

We had such a relaxing time at the Alaska Lodge. The owners are kind, good-hearted people that made sure we were well taken care of. The scenery of Alaska is like none I’ve ever experienced. You’ll do your best to take good photos, but it falls short of seeing it with your own eyes.
Our trip offered something for everyone: Outstanding rainbow trout fishing, panning for gold in nearby streams (with gold being found every place we went),
shopping, hiking and wildlife viewing. The amenities at the lodge are many, making our stay there so enjoyable!
The experience will be long remembered and the hospitality shown to us was amazing. We will definitely be going back!

We had the pleasure of staying at The Alaska Lodge during our EPIC Alaska adventure a few weeks back. The Alaska Lodge is the best of both worlds when considering the outstanding beauty of the property and the surrounding wilderness, and the quaint, comfortable and gorgeous accommodations of the lodge. Jonathan and Alicia are perfect hosts!! They have left no detail undone in providing such a wonderful place to stay. Jonathan also provided us absolutely incredible suggestions for outings, fishing opportunities and made sure we knew about some out of the way things that are MUST SEE!! We really loved our trip and were so happy to have had the chance to stay here! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Thank you, Jonathan and Alicia, for the amazing hospitality!

I am writing this as we are ready to check out. We have had a great week at the Alaska Lodge. Wolverine Lake and Lazy Mountain are beautiful. Mornings on the deck, views for miles, fishing, kayaking, hiking, hunting - its all right there. Jonathan and Alicia are wonderful hosts - they know the best spots to hike, ATV, horseback ride and grab a bite. Would love to come back!

Best. Host. Ever. This location was unreal. The mountains and lake are gorgeous. The property is so much fun. We came in the winter and enjoyed sledding, snowshoeing, playing old school video games with the wood burning stove, AND Jonathan gave us spot on advice for excursions around the area. Spotless clean. Everything you need. Super comfy bed. Literally cannot recommend this place and these hosts highly enough. They took amazing care of us. We would love to come back!

The week we spent at The Alaska Lodge was so incredible. You absolutely cannot beat the view & waking up with your coffee and looking out at the mountain and lake from the cabin. There were many times when we woke up, looked out at the lake from the lodge, and decided to go down and fish. While on the lake, we caught so many fish. I wasn’t big into fishing before, but I had an absolute blast fishing on the lake surrounded by mountains and actually catching fish! One of my favorite nights was when we were sitting by the fire looking out at the lake and we got a close up view of a young moose crossing the lake! I don’t know that you get more of a real Alaskan experience than you will at the lodge. It can be as adventurous or as laid back as you like it to be. The lake is very quiet, which is so nice. We could even hear the wings of the bald eagle flying over the lake! While staying at the lodge we also went to the Reindeer farm, walked on a glacier, and hiked around the area. The host is so knowledgeable and friendly and has great recommendations of things to do or see! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and could not recommend it more to anyone considering going to Alaska.
