I’ve been to the Alamite on a few occasions once as a guest and again a few times as a diner. My most recent dining experience was quite good. I chose the grilled chicken caesar salad accompanied with a glass of water and an expertly made side car cocktail. My salad was delicious. Crisp romaine, seasoned grilled chicken, and house Caesar dressing. Pair that with the incredible staff and the view, makes for one great recipe.

This is a great hotel. The wife and I were in town for a job and stayed here for a night. Everything about this place is top notch. The food is good and the drinks are better. Live music on the roof top bar. The best thing about this place is the staff. They are truly spectacular.

Santina at the front desk can afford to take a lesson on how to be in the hospitality industry. I left my key in my room. She was far from hospitable. Other than that, it's a nice hotel, but the front desk is more important than she realizes, I guess. She isn't very nice AT ALL! I'm nice to everyone & despite her attitude, I told her I hoped her wrist injury heals quickly, to which she growled at me, "ITS CALLED ARTHRITIS, SIR!"

Update: The hotel manager contacted me promptly with sincere apologies and concern. They provided a fair solution. Couldn't ask for more than that.

The staff was fabulous, as is the location, but getting rest was impossible. There is little to no soundproofing between rooms, or floors. Further, the heavy doors slam when not closed by hand. Out of frustration I went to the gym hoping I could return when people quieted down only to find that the gym was under construction. For the price, it was just not worth it.

I want to thank Malik and his staff for being extremely professional and courteous during the Valentine’s Day dinner and drinks! There were lots of things going on and it could have been overwhelming but he and the hosts were very informative and helpful! It’s people who care about their jobs and the customers who make it enjoyable and want to return for a great experience! Please give them a raise!! I’ll be back soon!!!

I stayed here a week ago and had an amazing room which was absolutely clean. I am very disappointed to be back here the following week to be in a room with my two year old daughter that is absolutely dirty. The shower was not clean. Hair in the bed and in the bathroom. Holes at the bottom of the tile in the bathroom? Completely night and day experience from last week. I made a complaint to the front desk and was told they will add 10,000 points to my marriot bonvoy account. That would be equivalent to 90.00. I paid good money to stay here for the quality and luxury. Does this look like that to you? The purpose have spending good money is to avoid such grievances. Not to deal with this or have my daughter pick up the filth in the room along with playing with the hole in a tile.

Moving forward I may second guess my stay here as I thought to consider here a “ home away from home.”

Very demure !!!!I don’t leave reviews much, but the service I received this review couldn’t do its justice. From the Valet to the door man to the reception staff to the hospital keeping staff to the restaurants I received the best experience I ever have at a hotel. This is one of the last few places that are still happy to give great customer service and really mean it.

I visited for my first time because my daughter touted university of Alabama, it was close to campus, gym was clean with great equipment, restaurants were the best around, and the rooms were stunning. I will be staying here when I visit my daughter moving forward. Oh, there we a shuttle that took us to the football game right outside the hotel for $1
