I recently visited Thai Lotus Bodywork in South Loop and had a good massage in a clean and relaxing environment. The massage room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, which I appreciated.

However, a few distractions took away from the overall experience. My therapist’s technique was effective, but I noticed several pauses during the session, especially when her elbow was pressing into my back—it felt like she might have been checking her phone. A massage should be an uninterrupted experience, so this was a bit disappointing. Additionally, I could clearly hear conversations from the next room, which made it harder to fully relax. Given the higher price point, I was expecting a more seamless and tranquil environment.

I’d love to come back, but I hope the team can focus more on eliminating distractions so that clients get the full, undivided attention they deserve. If management is open to discussing this further, I’d appreciate the opportunity to share my experience and see how they can make things right. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Yesterday was my third visit to Thai Lotus Spa and it has yet to let me down.

Bella was a fantastic massage therapist and hit all of my pain points. I’m actually excited to go back and continue this journey of self care. Do yourself a favor and do the same, as it’s so easy to book an appointment online. Rooms are clean, smells great, and the pressure was outstanding.

The massage therapists here are so great, and have been really consistent with their service. Goes to show how great and professional this establishment is. Amazing spot for a reasonable price. Don’t forget to tip!

As an athletic person who has experienced massages all over the world, I can confidently say this was the best I’ve ever had. I had a Thai massage with a male chiropractor who was incredibly skilled and knowledgeable about the entire body’s anatomy. He knew exactly what he was doing, and I left feeling like a completely new person. I’m genuinely sad I don’t live in Chicago because I would be there every week without a doubt. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience!

After the treatment, deep tissue, my muscles felt wonderful. My pain went down and my range of motion increased. Despite having to hold my breath a few times during because of the pain, I didn’t have any lingering soreness the next day. It was a very deep massage that was well worth the short term pain.

I had my first Thai massage experience here, and it was phenomenal! My masseuse's name is Sky, and she is the best. She is super friendly and professional. For a 90-minute massage, it was definitely worth the price. I will come back soon for sure.

I decided to come here on my lunch break, a day before having knee surgery, and am I glad I did! I was able to get an appointment within two hours of them on Google
Maps. The text reply after booking was prompt and responsive. I booked the deep tissue but they were flexible and allowed me to change to the traditional Thai massage minutes within my massage beginning (very accommodating staff)
My body feels loosened up, my mind at ease and clear of worry about the surgery.
The place was clean, with nice ambiance and aromas and the price was very affordable and reasonable for their location. I will make coming here a habit for a few lunch breaks out of the year!

Ada did my massage today and she really helped me immensely. I work with my arms and so I have a lot of pain in my elbows, shoulder, wrists, and hands. She focused on the arms which can be a much more complicated area to work on due to the nerves and tendons. I also went into a light trance a few times which is not too common with massage since I tend to think really hard and try to figure out problems while in the massage even if I am trying to relax, but I did manage to get into a zone of floating mentally due to Ada’s massage. I highly recommend Ada, especially to those who have arm pain and work jobs which require arm oriented labor. She really relieved a lot of pain. Thank you.
