The website drew us in so we decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did. The food is AMAZING and the bowls were so full we had enough leftover to have for lunch the next day. The sauces are out of this world good with a taste that is unlike anything else we've tried. I would suggest getting extra sauce-you wont be disappointed. The price is reasonable for what you get and overall this place far exceeded our expectations. This is our new go to place for sure. I read the reviews and was shocked by the few low ratings because that was not our experience at all. The place is a little on the small side but overall everything was AWESOME!!

I understand this is a chain so I didn't go in with high expectations. Unfortunately it just wasn't a good experience. The service was fine - lady at the counter seemed new or inexperienced and people in the back were rude to her. I ordered and paid extra for chicken breast teriyaki and was given regular. Food was OK at best - definitely not worth the price. Paid $35 for a double meat bowl and regular chicken breast bowl, two extra sauces. Definitely over priced. Save your money and eat elsewhere for teriyaki. I won't be back.

I have been excited to try this place and finally gave it a shot. I walked in and the girl behind the counter greeted me. There was a guy (white, heavy set, and bald) trying to clock out but was having issues working the time clock, so he was hovering near the front next to the girl on register while I ordered.
He was asking her weird questions like "who is your favorite coworker" And wouldn't drop the conversation when she very tactfully told him it was someone other than him. He proceeded to clock off and sit at the front table and continue the game of 21 questions about why he wasn't her favorite and how come she liked X team member better than him (uhhh... maybe because you're being kinda creepy).
I may be wrong, but she seemed like she was stuck in this conversation and couldn't escape. He was talking to her the entire time I was waiting for my order, and was relentless. It made me feel uncomfortable enough during the 5-ish minutes I waited for my food, I can only imagine how she feels during a shift...
The food was fine – the yakisoba sauce was kinda grainy but the steak was a good serving size and the flavor was overall good. The other bowl we got was also fine. A pretty good amount of food in the medium and large. The price is a little high but I'd come here again..... if that guy isn't there. 😬

Service was great , the soda machine is very rich the syrup needs to be dialed back. The orange chicken tasted burnt the steak was good but it tasted like it had been cooked next to the seafood had a fish taste. The chicken was really good.

Went yesterday and thought the food was delicious! Really loved the flavor and quality of the meat, plus they also have brown rice which is a plus! The prices are reasonable and the service was nice! Definitely will go again!

First time visit. Not impressed. The place was dirty, the tables needed to be cleaned, there was trash on the floor and the floor was dirty. The worker at the front counter had their jacket and open soda laying out as well as I watched another worker come out and reach under the front counter for what looked like deodorant or some type of body spray, reach down into their shirt and spray it, again at the front counter. I should of left then because the food was awful. I ordered the chicken teriyaki with the yakisoba noodles. It was bland, the chicken tasted like it was old and the Rangoon were over cooked. I understand the restaurant is still new, good luck you need it.

The workers suck, They're barely legible. The dude working the register just kept walking away from us while we were ordering. And we were very clearly stating what we wanted and he kept on missing details and asking us what we wanted several times past the point of just wanting to be sure. The first time the dude in front walked away another guy came up and instead of saying he didn't speak English or saying it wasn't his job he just straight up ignored us and didn't even look at us, Walking right past us to go do something else.
Tdlr: Rude staff and illegible staff.
Food and place was good though.

Place just opened today and I am vastly impressed not only by how well prepared the staff was, but also the excellent customer service and THE FOOD. Jesus christ man the food is amazing. I spent $6 on a chicken terriyaki bowl for their opening deal and have been eating for 15 minutes, I still can’t see the bottom of the bowl. Not only that the chicken is ridiculously good, super tender. Also definitely recommend the Crab Rangoons. Welcome to Citrus Heights Terriyaki Madness, please stick around.
