Perfect taco stand stop in cute Alpine. Affordable, great taste, very friendly, staff & clean restroom. We travel often with dogs and they had a wonderful outdoor patio. It’s not your typical sit down and get served, we prefer this type of order & find a seat!!

Excellent fish tacos and horchata. The staff are always friendly and the kitchen doesn't make you wait long for your good. The dining room inside is small, but their outside dining area is fantastic.

The only thing I can find fault with is the lack of parking, but that's not a huge issue because I've always been able to park close, even if not directly in front.

Disappointed after my coworker hyped up the carne asada fries with nacho cheese. They made them when i arrived and still did not feel warm and you can see the cheese was not melted and any nacho cheese they added was at the bottom .

Literally 11$ Cali burrito. Cheese isn't melted. The fries are frozen. I wish I could give it less the 1 star. Absolutely ridiculous.

Food was tasty and fast! The chicken was very good. Forgot to put guacamole on one order of tacos but made up for it for sure. They don't have chucky guacamole its pretty smooth like a saucethan a dip. We stopped there passing through headed back to San Diego. Taco shells a tad greesy but GREAT portions.

I grew up here all through high School, this was all mine, my friends and family favorite place to go. Amazing food amazing prices, family run business. Truly authentic food at a great value. Whenever I have family or friends coming into California this is the first place that I recommend to go to!!!!!

This is the best fish taco I've had outside of San Felipe! New favorite taco shop in San Diego and I can't believe it's in Alpine! It's worth the drive though. I'll be coming out here a lot more often. The carne asada and the surf and turf were also great! I'll need to try more so I can see what else is good, but so far, not a single thing to complain about.

This is the best Mexican food in Alpine. After they burned down, I was at the convenience store across the street with other townsfolk. They kept saying how disappointed they were that the best taco shop in town burned down, and we all agreed that we hoped they would rebuild.

They opened back up this week and I swear on my mama that somehow, it's even better than before! We've eaten there every single day this week(lord, help my blood pressure!)

You want a good meal, go to tapatios. Nowhere else comes close. Try the Carne asada chips and the chimichangas!
