It was my first time trying a "Taco John."

Food - Let's talk about that.

The Buritto I had was bland and small. This company is charging BIG BUCKS for something I can buy somewhere else with twice the content and better taste.

So I happened to purchase the special (see the attached photo of the receipt), and they need to make that a permanent promotion as it accurately depicts what you should be paying for one. Yes...half the price.

Anyways, I'm not sure if these prices reflect having to pay a possible higher rent space than other locations or what, but these prices don't make sense.

That was my last time at a Taco John.

My experience? Devoid of vitality—utterly lifeless. To articulate it more precisely, Taco John’s exuded an ambiance reminiscent of a monochromatic episode of ‘The Addams Family’, evoking the spectral lethargy of reanimated corpses shuffling through a necropolis. The employees, engrossed in their mobile devices, exhibited a complete absence of facial affect—no greeting, no acknowledgment, only a taciturn dismissal that seemed to ask, ‘Why have you intruded upon my inertia?’

The culinary execution was no less dismal. A ostensibly simple double bean burrito, augmented with rice, was rendered inedible through a baffling combination of incompetence and apathy. The beans, desiccated to a state resembling sun-baked clay, were encased in a tortilla whose texture evoked stale bruschetta. I fully recognize that operational efficacy in fast food establishments hinges upon the conscientiousness of individual workers—particularly when the labor force skews younger and demonstrably disengaged. In this instance, not a single employee exhibited even nominal concern for quality control. Two bites sufficed before consigning the abomination to the waste receptacle.

It is worth noting that this is not an isolated incident but rather emblematic of a recurrent pattern across multiple Taco John’s locations. While it is tempting to attribute the decline solely to institutional negligence, culpability also lies with consumers who fail to demand better. By passively accepting substandard service and culinary mediocrity—despite expending hard-earned capital—we perpetuate a cycle of mutual indifference. If patrons do not hold establishments accountable, why should those establishments invest in improvement? The result is precisely this: a dystrophic feedback loop of declining standards and eroded expectations.

Their price is ridiculous for the service you get. They never get my order right and then when I say something they suddenly don't speak English. They don't seem to care either. And when I ask for my veterans discount I usually get a sigh like it's an inconvenience.

It's cheap fast food. It was okay. The taste of the oil on the fried chicken wasnt great. They lacked seasoning overall.

We love Taco John's . Restaurant is attached to a gas station. I had a chicken taco and it was very good.

This location is just poorly managed and so depending on who happens to be working when you get there will depend on whether you get a 5 star visit or a 1 star experience. Don't bother coming in the morning

2nd attempt at Taco Johns. There new beef & potato taco..
Still not impressed. $2.00 taco sm compared to reg taco 6" tortilla this might be 5". Looks like chilli sauce from a can and 3 tater tots. I
