Found this place Through family, thought it was s as n unbelievable price, granted it’s not a huge room but big enough to fit our party. The place is updated, has WiFi , nice remodel and only $85 for the rental. The catch is you pay $335 upfront and if everything is okay after, you get refunded $250.
Well things were going ok, even though I never got to speak to Michele in person (only through email, not even by phone) she was always “too busy” or “on lunch” every time I stopped by or tried to call.
The day of our event we rented from 2 pm bd aide there was someone renting it until 1pm. It was getting close to the start of our event when we turned on the oven and when it got to 400 degrees the room filled up with smoke and the smoke alarms went off. We immediately turned off the oven ( we didn’t even put food in it yet) opened all the windows and doors to air it out. It was about 30 min later that someone showed up to turn off the alarms and this was me calling and emailing Michele. When we looked in the oven the whole bottom portion was dirty looked like someone left ALOT of debis there. This cause all our guest to wait outside in the cold for 30 minutes because of the load fire alarm. And our food was super late because we had to take it home to cook .

End result, she said we left the oven in horrible state ( even though we didn’t use it) and isn’t refunding ya the deposit at all.

Place is great but I would demand to speak to someone face to face next time and do an inspection with pictures before the event takes place. Horrible service on Michele’s part.
