The gym I had gone to, Marathon Fitness, closed, so I went searching for another. Went to the Sycamore Park District. Turned out that the equipment was much better and I was able to get membership there for MUCH cheaper, and they even gave a veteran's discount. Good deal! I should have gone to them a long time ago.

We took our dog to the bemis dog park for the first time and was a really nice experience. There was 4 other dogs there and everyone played very nicely. Lots of room to run or walk. Has benches and covering for shade too. Poop station to pickup after your dog. Water fountain for thirsty dogs and humans. Will return again.

Volleyball leagues have been nice, not very advertised, and shortened way too much this past few years,..please let it be known we'd like longer league time...
.also please write them if you are interested in wallyball which is much more exercise and fun than volleyball, and the YMCA restricts the courts highly now....only one court left and open wallyball is way too full.

Ps we used to play until May...now league is drastically cut short...your reply person is misinformed about season length. October 14 to Feb 22 and then a few tournaments does not equal 6 months ESPECIALLY with all the holidays taken....Halloween, Thanksgiving week, Christmas, New Year's...the goal is exercise and health for US.......what is it for you?

Please give us more opportunities to play...and how about open volleyball all year long so we can practice our skills

We do not NEED refs to get exercise...

We have a small camper so we were camping at site 54 for 21 days under a beautiful tree by the pond. Campground is great so quiet and people so nice. My wife plays pickkeball and the Sycamore Rec Complex only 6 minutes away which was great for her also Sycamore is such a wonderful friendly town. Restaurants and bars are amazing. Will definitely come back here.

With grown kids I have not taken much advantage of what the park district has to offer over the past several years. But this year I joined the dog park and have been having such a wonderful time enjoying what the park district has to offer. The dog park is exactly what you'd hope it would be. Clean, safe, well managed with great communication from the staff. They even cross promote events like the Thursday concert series that you can enjoy from the dog park while letting your pup play. Yesterday I went to the park expecting a some regular play time for my pups when I say a dog party happening at the splash pad next door. Oh my gosh, talk about a crazy fun time. They had closed the splash pad to kids due to the change in seasons, but before shutting it off they had a dog part with a Dj and friendly staff monitoring the event. It's was hysterical and my dogs had a blast. I've been so impressed with the creativity and flexibility the district has shown during the pandemic. Thank you for everything you do. We appreciate it.

My daughter took the Intro to dance classes for toddlers and loved it. She had a lot of fun. We have also been to the splash pad before covid and had a lot of fun, it wasn't crowded at all. Hoping to go to the sledding hill soon!

The park is quite ample and spaced out very well. Plenty of parking is available. Our church gathered there a couple of years ago and the kids had a great time ....I think you will like it also.
