I have visited Sycamore Mineral Springs twice, and I can confidently say that it’s an exceptional experience. The staff demonstrates remarkable professionalism and attentiveness, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for. The mineral springs, with their warm, sulfur-infused waters, provide a deeply relaxing atmosphere perfect for unwinding. My visits have left me feeling completely rejuvenated, and I fully intend to return for more of this restorative experience.r spa is relaxing. This was my third visit over about 10 years. I used to visit the central coast a lot when my daughter attended Cal Poly and later worked in the area. The location is great on a trial that leads to Avila Beach, there are herons nesting on the property. Its about a 10 minute easy drive from the SLO airport and just off of the 101 if you are driving from the north or south.
The grounds are well maintained. My room was clean, updated and very comfortable. The restaurant serves food that is of high quality and less expensive than similar quality restaurants in the area. Wine list is very fairly priced and contains a nice variety of local wines.
The staff was very accommodating and made the experience better. My wife did a soak and massage Spa treatment and really enjoyed it. Check-in was easy and the staff checked in via texts to make sure everything was going well.

If you are looking for a special time and one to remember you should visit Sycamore Hot Springs. The whole place was centered around a healthy and wholesome vibe with many gorgeous trails in oak Forests overlooking Avila beach on some. The mineral tubs in the hills looked like such a fun date night opportunity too even if you don't stay over. Would be lovely to dine at their restaurant and then go soak for an hour. The in-room tubs are very convenient and relaxing. Overall, we loved our time here!

Service: top notch service - all staffs seem happy and eager to make the guests happy - ranging from front desk staffs, garden restaurant, the pizza & music place, and the housekeeping/service crews. We enjoyed our stay entirely.

Room: our room was spacious and the hot tub was very convenient to access. We found some water marks on the bed sheet, shortly after notified the front desk, we got new ones delivered. The room was a bit cold in winter month (just rained before we arrived), but the service team made sure we are cozy by sending us an area heater as well as additional blankets. We ended up having a great weekend here.

Food: the garden restaurant was okay but had huge portion; the secret garden place was very good (dog friendly but make sure your fido friends love louder musics) - make sure you get cheesy bread or any of their pizzas - they also occasionally have live music with local bands - have a morning hike and sit on the patio to enjoy the music and pizza with a couple beers would guarantee you a relaxing day.

Location: in the middle of mountains, accessible to Avila/shell beach via a quite strenuous trail or a very short drive.

I rented a hillside hot tub for an hour on 1/21 and had a great experience. After reading mixed reviews and expecting aloof staff, I was pleasantly surprised by how attentive and welcoming the ladies working from 2:30-3:30 were. After some guidance from one of the gals, I chose the "sunset" spot at the top, tucked under trees, and it was peaceful, clean, and relaxing. I brought my own towel and snacks, which made it even better, although they have both available for purchase.

A couple of tips: bring a bag for your wet swimsuit, and wear shoes with good grip for the steep stairs (though they’re wide and have armrails). Also, be mindful of the hotel rooms nearby if you plan to change—there’s some visibility. Overall, it was a fun and relaxing time, especially on a chill Tuesday afternoon. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful mid-week get away. Beautiful, serene location. Took advantage of Foodie Month. Dinner & breakfast superior. We were there 2 days.. 2 dinners , 2 breakfasts, all meals 5 star. Service wonderful. Spa day service couples cbd massage outstanding.

We had such a wonderful experience at Sycamore Hot Springs for my birthday last weekend! We rented the Lagoon waterfall and me and my girlfriends had such a lovely time. Also while we were attempting to store our cake in our cooler, we realized the cake was too big. Well someone from the hotel saw us and offered to store the cake in the restaurant fridge for us while we soaked! He took the cake and our info so we could pick up afterwards. We were floored by this act of customer service! Thanks so much for the extra help and for the great soak! We will definitely return!

Absolutely the getaway we needed. This place is beyond relaxing. We took advantage of the discount for staying Sunday through Thursday that came with two complimentary artisan pizzas. It was a beautiful room and a great bed (that I should have made before taking the pictures I posted). Lots of details and super cozy. The pizzas were delicious! So were the cocktails that must have impaired our navigation skills because we couldn't find our room. One of the super accommodating front desk employees walked us all the way to the front door in the pouring rain. So very relaxing and quiet. Looking forward to going back!
