We recently stayed at this B&B whilst travelling around California from the UK. Since we stay a lot in UK hotels as part of our job roles we always prefer to stay in B&Bs or small inns which are less corporate. This was the second time we had visited and were not disappointed. Amy and Shay were excellent hosts and were very welcoming. The room we stayed in had its own private entrance with easy access to the pool area. The room had all the usual amenities with a few added extras which were a lovely touch by the hosts.The pool area had been recently remodelled and was a perfect location to relax at the end of a days sightseeing. Breakfast was prepared by Amy, it was extremely colourful with fresh fruits, yoghurts and breads topped off with a sumptuous omelette. Value for money this is without doubt one of the best places you can stay within a safe neighbourhood in Sherman oaks. There are numerous restaurants and stores within walking distance of this location.Thus is a perfect B&B with perfect hosts, Thank you so much both for your hospitality.

My wife and I, together with a friend, had the great pleasure of staying with Amy and Shay for a week earlier this month. We were attracted by the many excellent reviews which we can fully endorse. We were greeted as honered guests immediately upon arrival and quickly felt we were staying with friends, being given free access to the house. Breakfast was excellent, with Amy always striving to provide variety, and our days began with enjoyable conversation each morning with her and Shay and friendly greetings from Kitty, the cat and Rootbeer the dog! Our rooms were spotlessly clean, spacious and very well equipped, together with a variety of welcome snacks - a nice touch. The quiet, residential area was minutes from the main road with plentiful shops and restaurants and it Studios and proved very easy to reach Universal Resort, Griffith Observatory, Paramount Studios and the Getty - always allowing for the ever prsent LA traffic! Amy's recommendations for local restaurants was also spot on. All in all, we had a great stay and only wish we had longer to simply enjoy staying at the house and the lovely garden. Thanks for making us so welcome and we would certainly love to return when we are next in LA.

The property was everything as described. Amy is a Master's class in being a Super Host! The location was perfect for our needs. The neighborhood is safe, and there is plenty of parking. The breakfasts were delicious, and Amy went out of her way to include Gluten Free options for me.

Sweet Dreams lived up to all the positive reviews we read before booking. Amy treated us wonderfully, helping us in so many ways to have a great stay in LA. We were made welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were charming, the breakfasts were terrific and the friendly advice always on point. It was extremely easy to travel to other parts of LA given the location near Ventura Blvd. A great alternative to impersonal and costly hotels! This was our first trip to California and staying at Sweet Dreams helped make it a memorable experience. We would certainly visit Amy and Shay on any future trips to LA. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed here as part of a long trip through California. The location was in a nice residential area not far from places to eat or things to do. The home had a lot of character and our room was clean and comfortable. Our host was very accommodating and it really felt like we were staying with friends we had known for years. I would not hesitate recommending Sweet Dreams B&B and if we are ever back in the L.A. area I would certainly stay here again.

In all of my travels and BnB stays, this is one of my favorite places. If I'm ever in the L.A. area again, I will definitely stay here and I highly recommend it. Amy and Shay have created a welcoming environment for guests. We felt right at home as soon as we entered. Breakfasts were outstanding. We were able to talk with Amy and Shay and other guests while we dined. Amy and Shay are long-term residents and have a lot of knowledge and experience that they are more than willing to share. They also take a personal interest in their guests and the conversations were always interesting. Rooms were clean and comfortable; parking was easy.

Sweet Dreams B&B deserves the highest of marks for home hospitality!! Our relatives from the East Coast who we don't get to see often were staying at this lovely b&b in a quiet residential neighborhood of Sherman Oaks, CA, and five more of us who were staying elsewhere in the area, including two vegans, wanted to join them, at an additional fee, of course, for a Saturday breakfast. No problem, said innkeeper Amy. She fixed all of us a very accommodating breakfast and let us hold a mini family reunion in her lovely home for an hour or so. The whole place is beautiful including a very welcoming back yard, complete with a pool. Now we wish WE had stayed there, too! Five stars really are not enough.
