The room was pretty dirty. My wife got on her hands and knees and cleaned the floor and it was terrifying. There was an old bottle of KY down by the nightstand by the bed.
But they had a room, The price was right, and it was a decent location. The staff were very accommodating. They helped us to get checked in a little earlier than normal. Since we had to evacuate, we didn’t have the luxury of being picky.

My main "issue" is that when I search for hotels on Google maps I always filter for 3 or 4 star hotels.

This showed up as 3-star, but it was more like 1.5-2.0 star.

This is fine, since that's how it was priced. The thing is, I've gotten great deals on really nice hotels in the past via Google maps links, so maybe my expectations were a bit too high.

As a 2-star hotel this place was perfectly adequate. There's no pool (which is fine), and when my daughter asked what time we should come down for breakfast in the morning, the guy at the desk actually chuckled before telling her they don't serve breakfast. Our room was on the Interstate side, and traffic was audible all night.

That said, the room itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly.

If I had searched for a relatively inexpensive 2-star hotel that would serve as a decent place to spend the night before we hit the road again, the Sweet Dream Inn fit the bill.

It just shouldn't be labeled as 3-star in the search.

This is a low budget hotel that is old. Was in acceptable condition, clean room, comfortable bed. Great location. I stayed two nights and would not hesitate to stay again. I booked through the sweet dreams website and got the best price I have seen in years. If you go in knowing what it is, you will not be disappointed, you get what you pay for.

I had a horrible experience soon as I walked into the room I noticed a few cockroaches. I further inspected and found hair on the bed that wasn't mine. I checked the bathroom and bathtub did not drain also there was hair on the toilet. I was then transferred to another room and again I came across a few roaches , the microwave was dirty too.

I ended up checking out exactly 2HOURS after i checked in and went to another hotel. Such an inconvenience having waste money twice called in the morning and spoke with the general manager Cinnamon, she explain that she wasn't able to refund but that she could offer me 10% off after the experience I had I don't wanna return to this place. I asked for a refund she said she had to speak with another manager and see what they would be able to do for me. I was only there for 2 hours MAX. This is unbelievable

you can't beat the price, so set your expectations accordingly. we didn't spend any time at the hotel itself other than to sleep. the bed was clean and comfortable. the bathroom was clean and shower worked as expected. no carpet and a mini fridge, so it had everything we needed. i heard some noise, but it was rare. overall, great stay

Frontdesk attendants were young but sent folio to my email promptly when asked. Room was clean and bed was comfy yet supportive. The hotel is older but maintained sufficiently. I will stay here again if in the area.

Clean room! Hot shower! Comfortable bed! No night stand lamps, overhead light only. All hard floors, no carpet.
Security deposit required ($25 if using card, $100 if using cash). Refunded to my card in a couple days.
Service at the front desk was fast and friendly.

I got stuck in Pensacola, FL following a tire blowout. I had to drop my van off with a late night auto shop who went and got the tires I needed. After booking I showed up and was immediately given a nice clean room. I stayed the night but when I went to get my car the shop was closed despite being 24 hours. I waited a few hours hen rebooked the room and came back. They went above and beyond and gave me a room and let me come in earlier than their normal check in time. I appreciate all of the help this business and awesome city has done for me
