I’m a big fan of best westerns and I stay there when I can because usually the prices are pretty good and the rooms are clean. This one is one of the more inexpensive hotels in the East Bay but it is a bit rundown. The heaters in the rooms often don’t work, And a lot of the people who are in the hotel are a little sketchy. The service is good, and they have breakfast in the morning, but the hotel really needs to be updated.

I am an Assistant General Manager of a Bestwestern in Idaho. I don’t usually review my own hotel brand but I just couldn’t help it…..here it goes.
I recently stayed at the SureStay Plus by Bestwestern in Richmond, California, and I couldn’t have been more impressed with the service. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, and much of that credit goes to Karina. She truly went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect for my stay.

Not only did Karina handle every detail with professionalism and efficiency, but her friendly demeanor also made me feel valued as a guest. She took the time to address all my needs and even anticipated things I hadn’t thought of. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about providing exceptional service, but Karina does it effortlessly.

The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but the outstanding customer service is what really sets this place apart. If you’re staying in Richmond, I highly recommend this hotel—and make sure to ask for Karina if you need anything. She’s the best!

Honestly pretty good for the price. The rooms are clean, beds are decent, and the breakfast is standard.

Some rooms have GoogleTV. Just make sure you log out, they don't reset it for you. Also having wome instructions would be good, if you're nit tech savvy setting it up can be time consuming.

This place is old and not well kept.
It's really close to some high speed road and you can easily hear it all time.
Housekeepers looked very friendly and hard workers.
The security man in the night is a great guy, a big highlight to him.
People at the reception needs to go back to customer service' school. Some of them are really cold and they don't make you feel considered at all.

Breakfast is from 6 to 9. Got there at 9.01 and got nothing, but that was my bad.

The room is pretty dark and the fornitures are pretty ruined by time and no maintenance.

Overall it wasn't a great experience for me.

Consider also to add bridges' tolls if you wanna go to SF (7$ per bridge from north to south way, getting back it's free yahyyyy)

Positive: The hotel was clean as can be. I loved the shower amenities with the soap, conditioner and shampoo along the back wall. Negative: A bit confusing on my Maps app but outside that no. A place i would definitely stay at again

Very clean- rooms are comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with several choices. Only complaint was no decaf coffee readily available.|Location is good with lots of restaurants in vicinity of the hotel. All in all it’s good

From the many hotel stays that I've had in Richmond, this is one that I can truly say was absolutely flawless. It was quiet, clean, and breakfast was delicious. Will definitely recommend it to more people!
