Positive: The only good thing was that the lovation was in the same town that our family member?s funeral services would be. Negative: I will never do business nor recommend this business to anyone. My daughter and 3 young grandkids were put in a room with no heat. They were not transfered to another room, in fact they were told to leave hotel premises because I called and complained.

Positive: He person that checked us in was very nice recognized us from previous visits. Negative: There was roaches and when we try to talk to the woman at the front desk she said everyone has roaches and she taught me we're good people so why are we making trouble complaining about the roaches.

I won’t give any stars; it’s a waste of money. This is a very bad motel with no service. There was a spider web on the curtains, the bathroom roof was broken from the side, and there was no coffee. After 11 am, there was no water, not even a fountain. I will never go to such a filthy motel again, and you all should be cautious too. I do not recommend it. I wish I could share pictures, but I think they have disabled that option !!!

Terrible hotel, terrible service and terrible smell. They didn't have internet so couldn't run a card, we agreed to pay cash 100 for 2 nights which I thought was a decent deal since I'm just here for work, but they locked me out of room and started yelling it was only 1 night. 100 bucks a night for this place? Never.

This place is absolutely disgusting! Service was absolutely deplorable! We were absolutely denied an extra towel when there was three of us and only two towels! The man put his finger in our faces and told us that we were absolutely denied extra towels! The room was deplorable at best! There were burn holes from cigarettes in all of the bedding! There were visibly huge patched holes in the walls! The room smell like sewage and had Febreze car vent fresheners on the heater/AC! After being on the road for 14 hours I wanted to give my 4-year-old a bath and wasn't able to because the bathtub was falling apart and the holes leaking water! One of the beds had a full boot print on the sheets! There were only two towels for three guests and when I called front desk to complain and ask for new sheets and another towel they wanted to argue with us and showed up at the door! The first thing I said to him was can you smell the sewage and his response was are you smoking in here? The man then denied there was anything wrong with the room and refused to get us another towel orous sheets (even though there were three of us) then told us to come to the front desk and walked away! When we got to the front desk the man or boy got rude with us put his finger in our face and said I deny you more towels! Then when asked what would happen if we just left would we receive a refund he said absolutely not! I then asked if we could change rooms and he said he didn't have any available Even though three men were cleaning out a room next to us after 6:00 p.m. in the evening! After speaking to some guests it was very obvious that this hotel is seedy and allows shady people and business to go on at this property! Again the room was beyond deplorable disgusting rooms and outrageously rude employees! I have plenty of pictures but cannot figure out how to post them here!

Beware of this location. We tried canceling the reservation in person, and the front desk refused. We cancelled the reservation online before the deadline based on their policy, and they still charged our card. When we called, the front desk refused to remove the charge even though he was aware that the cancellation was done, saying that he reinstated the reservation because one of us showed up in person. Terrible attitude and service is provided at this location, and they will not get our business for future visits to Selma.

This Super 8 required payment upfront when we made reservation and before we saw the room. Room was not clean, was very dated, and smelled. There was pubic hair in the bathroom. Agent would not reimburse even though we did not stay in the room. We slept in car outfront.
