Front desk staff friendly and rooms clean. Business practices by management a bit shady. I checked out early on my reservation by one day and they were unwilling to refund it. Also, they'll make sure to wake you up promptly at 11am to charge you another day if you work nights. Hot breakfast downgraded to a cold breakfast while there. I would've provided a steady income stream to this hotel if they were more flexible for months. Now, I'll move on to another lodging.

perfect stay, couldn't ask more for the price I paid. friendly staff, clean rooms, little old but cleanliness is prefect. no issues. Just off I-88 , easy to get in and out. different restaurants nearby, Walmart is across the street. will visit again

Air conditioner was on high when we walked in (which should have clued us) and the room smelled TERRIBLE (thus the air on high so they knew). Bed the hardest I've ever felt and similar to sleeping on the floor. Toilet was the height of my kids' in elementary school so be prepared to squat! Every possible corner cut. We have had some good experiences with Super 8 hotels but not this one. Spend a little more and stay elsewhere!!

This might not impress a 40 yo - but as a 68 yo woman, I was delighted the card/key to my room worked. Easily! And every single time!! AND the bathtub had a mat to prevent slipping. Thank you much. Also the desk clerks were charming. I'll be back to Rock Falls occasionally & this will be my go to.

Rock Falls is a small town. Hotel is a little better than the normal. Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms. Very good rates.

Young man at the front desk with the glasses was super friendly and very helpful I could tell right away I was not in Chicago anymore so nice to be somewhere where there’s a nice polite person at the front desk.

First thing that hits you when you walk into the room is the smell. Musty and sour, like old cigar smoke baked into the room. The room itself is adequate. A large picture of Chicago's skyline is the best part. The room is clean so there's that. In the bathroom half a roll of toilet paper is crazy for a two day stay. So is the single bar of soap barely larger than a postage stamp that is for both bathing and washing your hands. Not generous but we made it work. The towels were thin as hankies. They offer free breakfast but the first morning found a horde of young girls making like locust in the small room and when we returned half an hour later there was virtually nothing left but for three donuts and orange juice. The three carafes of coffee were empty never to be refilled. To be fair there was a coffee maker in our room which I utilized. The front staff were friendly although there was a snafu in paying our bill which I will not get into. All in all the place sufficed but I can not recommend it.

Me, my girlfriend, and two kids booked the room with 2 beds and pull out couch. We drove 14 hrs and arrived at 1am. We waited almost an hr to get someone to come to the front desk. They gave us keys and we were issued just 2 beds. We went downstairs and told them the issue. We were quoted AAA price of $79. Now they tell us $139. So we asked what can be done to the gentleman. He suggested talk to front desk in the am. A lady then comes to the desk and says we can settle this now. I'm not renting you a room. We explained that we drove 14hrs and didn't feel safe driving further. She shrugged her shoulders without a care. I asked for the owners information and she stated she was the owner. Cooperate call in am. I never been treated so poorly in a hotel experience before.
