-----> UPDATE as of Monday 7/1/24: DKatherine checked me in; as I decided to give this motel another shot. She was very helpful. Instead of the room Debra she said re-assigned me to before my arrival - a slightly more spacious room as it's in the corner next to what I requested in my initial *Special Requests* on this booking as well as for the previous stay.....an updated/renovated room that looks like the photo's on the website's, and that has an empty room next to it on at least one side of it (for less noise disturbances). The water pressure is a tad better in this room, it has an updated chest of drawer's, an iron and ironing board unlike (the other room didn't), you can manuever in and out of the bathroom a tad easier because (though it still swings inward instead of outward) the door swings away a little more from toilet but you still have to stand on side of toilet in order to close and open the door. It's window is facing the street, so I can open the curtains for sunlight without people AT the motel walking past the room looking in. The tables are extremely dusty, so I have my laptop sitting on one of the extra face towels I had her provide. When I'm done typing this; I'm going to ask the maid if I can borrow her wood cleaning spray so that I can get some of the dust up. It's bad enough that the window doesn't open; therefore food smells, and toilet smells can't circulate out as they should. Because as I'm typing this, I checked the window just now; unfortunately the window does NOT open, and I always need to get fresh air circulation from outside!!! So, this sucks. Geeesh, there's always something. Now I feel trapped; not being able to have fresh air blowing in, in a motel room. Uuuuugh.
I'll post further about this current stay; later. For now, the initial Review is still as is, here below.

[Review Part 1 of 3]:
I'll list the bad and the good together.
1. The sheets are NOT monitored; as one of them had cuts and tears, and another had stains and tears. [See photo attached hereto.]
2. I specifically requested an UPDATED room as they show/as they advertise online. But Debra (the manager) though she is a pleasant lady and seems kind, instead put me in an old rugged room. [See photo's hereto.]
3. The furniture is old, several scratches and cuts and stains - disgusting. The carpet stained and rugged. I was scared to open the drawers of the tv/stand/dresser against wall across from the bed's; so I didn't. They are so old it seems like the drawers would fall to floor and a family of roaches and spider's would crawl out along with past guests whatever left in them by the maid. They need to rid of that furniture (meaning: table and chairs included).
4. The microwave display light does not come on; so you can't see what you're pressing/setting your food to, especially at night or with curtains closed. They need to discard of it and install a new microwave in that particular room.
5. Debra said that only some rooms have what ALL hotels and motels SHOULD have - a tall (rectangle shaped) mini-fridge (top part being the freezer, bottom being the fridge). She said she doesn't know which ones do, and which ones have the ridiculous useless short mini-fridges (that are box shaped); so I assume she took a wild guess because thankfully the room had the tall fridge, so I was able to have frozen groceries delivered and not just ones that only require refrigeration. Even for a two night stay, let alone longer; I prefer to have frozen foods, including my vegan icecream and to freeze my superfood juices.
6. The toilet lid interior is disgustingly stained including with brown yellow rings. They need to replace it. [See photo hereto.]
7. There is a dead roach behind toilet. [See photo attached hereto.] I do NOT book places that have roaches nor bedbug's; and if there I expect a refund for the full stay.
8. The bathroom is so tiny that you literally have to maneuver your body past door and toilet trying not to touch toilet - in order to get out and get in to the tub/shower.Therefore, they need
